Amazon has a skin, which means she'd have to at least look different. There's some potential there, they could make her trait switch between melee and ranged kind of like Greymane.

Assassin has a lot of possibilities, because she could be a shadow summoner, a trap placer, an elemental melee martial artist, and fling ranged blades at people. There's a lot of completely different takes on her you could use.

Sorceress is kind of covered by Li-Ming, but this version of that archetype could be done differently. She could be a lot more benevolent and humble, someone who knows she doesn't know everything about the mysteries of magic. She could be a close range mobile aoe caster throwing sprays of frost shards (a shitty version of frozen orb), planting fire hydras like turrets, zapping for damage based on max hp with static field.

Thrall is really strong now because of how good earthquake is with rag and rehgar

So I'm still somewhat new to the game, I have some characters that I literally can't manage to lose the game with regardless of the dumb shit my team picks, and then I have characters that should fit into a team comp but EVERY time I pick it my team seems to go full retard.


Does stitches suck THAT badly? I can hit about 80% of what I throw and every time I pick it I get a pair of usually Illidan/varian that dive into shit 2v5 before I can help anyone with anything.

I don't pick him as a solo tank and I usually pick him with multiple stuns on my team. It's so frustrating, should I just not play it until my mmr is higher?

Any word on Auriel getting fixed? Her knock-back is incredibly buggy, inconsistent and unreliable. Sometimes you can whip someone and have them slide along an object and sometimes they'll be stunned, sometimes not. You can whip them on a rounded object and sometimes they'll be stunned, sometimes not. And sometimes you can whip an enemy and an ally will block their knock-back.

This hero is absolute bullshit, not because of his high damage per se but because he's so fucking easy to play.
His heroic is completely brainless. There are very few situations in which the correct choice isn't to just use it on CD on the lane most pushed by the opponent. It might not be optimal but it's never wasted.
At least I suppose he's kinda fragile in teamfight, he shits out a ton of AoE damage but dies isntantly when focused (compare to Dehaka, Sonya, Thrall). Still this is probably the lowest skill floor hero in the game.

Today I was Sylv on the new Mines.

The second golem was 60/40 for us, with our golem pushing with a sapper and a siege camp we just capped towards an exposed keep. Their golem was in a lane with the fort and two towers up.
So naturally I told everyone in my team to trade. If the opponent was shit at defending we were guaranteed a keep and perhaps the core right there.
Instead Auriel wrote "all def", ETC pinged their golem and that was that for our easy victory.
Did I fly off the hanfle and call them mongoloids? No, I regrouped and prepared for the next mine phase. Later we teamwiped them and pushed to the core.

Moral of the story is: shut up and play, even if your teammates don't play like you'd want them to. The worst thing you could do is to start an endless cycle of bickering and defensiveness.

Meteor for more damage but very little survivability, great in team fights if you can stay out of danger as you'll be able to hit the full team multiple times for high damage

Lava Wave always, this hero seems to have been practically built to fuck up split pushes from level 10 onwards, and you can pretty much end a lane teamfight with a single cast as the enemy has to either retreat or take huge damage. At 20, Heroic Difficulty on smaller maps and if you're on the defensive by 20, otherwise the second Lava Wave talent is fantastic for even more area denial and split push potential

Give All Shall Burn a baseline movement reduction instead of needing a talent to move at all. His auto attacks are worthless, he 'needs' ASB to do anything at all beyond one burst. But it's unusable without walking, and even then stuns and displacements fuck you up hardcore.

Or add a talent that reduces Globe cooldown by 1s for each enemy minion and 2s for each enemy hero (or just the latter) hit with it. Instant massive presence in fights if they're clumping up.

Rehgar has apparently gotten better so he's probably worth picking up, Tyrael is pretty decent if played right, as is Johanna last I checked. Tychus is always worthwhile, as is Falstad. Gul'Dan and Kael'Thalas are gonna be good as long as people insist on using Samuro. Leoric is one of my favourite anti-tanks, Li-Li can be alright but far from essential, I do enjoy playing Kharazim but I wouldn't say he's essential either, Alarak is well worth it if you can learn to play him well, and you probably know that Tracer can be a touch ridiculous by now

The only thing you need to think about it the heroic depending on whatever the fuck is going on in the map.
Is the enemy team roaming but isn't cleaning lanes? Pick monstrosity, stack it to 40 and duel pretty much their assassins because fucking hell mosnstrosity can 3 shot squishies
Is the enemy always trying to hard engage or have a li-ming/kael on your team? Pick clone and fucking curbstomp them every time they want to engage.

Also most of the time it is better to spam seismic slam and basic attack than to spin like an autist.
I usually use whirwind for the healing when i'm in the middle of the team. (not where you want to be usually, because you aren't very tanky even with the talents), or when someone is running away on very low health but you just can't get in range for seismic slam. Also it is good for escaping because it gives you movespeed and enemies cant bodyblock you for the duration.
But yeah play like a melee assassin and not like a tank and you should be fine.
Also she is very bad in quick meme because she is classified as a warrior even though she can't tank for shit and the enemy will get a warrior that probably can.
