Why people like elvUI? It looks shitty, is too clinical and the nameplate fonts are unreadable etc... it completely offsets what WoW is all about - it's about fantasy.. I'm stuck at 871. Just got my first 880 item the other day from a world quest. I don't really raid, only lfr sometimes. I wish there was an offline single player mode of this game. The other players annoy me.

my in-bags ilvl (the ilvl that shows up when you apply for a pug) is 883. my actual ilvl is 877. i still have 3 pieces of 855 gear that i wear. everybody has similar ilvl inflation

artifacts are not the average of your 3 relics, they are greater. 3 850 relics = ilvl 870 weapon
legendaries give you a 3-5 ilvl boost. if you are full 850 with 2 legendaries, your ilvl will probably be 860.
for some reason, legendaries still increase your ilvl even though you cannot equip more than 2 of them. i have a 3rd legendary sitting in my bags because it inflates my ilvl
random titanforging is desirable, and other people have very uneven stats because of random titanforging. youd still need gear even though your overall ilvl is higher

What DPS would be on top of fights that last ~90 secs or so, such as M+ bosses? Guessing it would be high burst specs where there DPS doesn't fall off because it's a short fight.

I accidentally logged a CoS 12 I did this week with randoms. As you can see were not very close to 415k DPS considering the Lock wasnt good and Hunter was taking all blade surges.

As long as you can survive into the later maelstroms with defensives its not too bad.

First time doing RAF, wondering what the best way is to level a DPS character.

We've played tank/heal before, which went great thanks to the non-existant queue times for instances, however now as a DPS character this seems different.
Even when one of us goes tank or heal, we still experience very long waiting times to get into dungeons.

I thought of maybe doing questing or being boosted trough instances by a higher level player but I'm not sure what would be the best way to do this, due to my lack of experience with RAF.

generally on raid bosses when lusting on pull you can get 500k+ DPS but then by the end of the fight you are back to 350.

That's without speccing for burst either, not sure if some talents make it even better, definitely DA after 7.1.5 with the leg shoulders.

hello. let me give you a rundown of 7.1.5 sub rogue

shadowstrike will now give 4 combo points (with nightblade and shadowblade active) which is a really awkward amount. it's either a take the 8 combo point talent OR waste a fucking load of combo points OR spam 4 point eviscerates?? which leads to refreshing nightblade at 4 points, which is dumb so you absolutely have to waste at least 2 combo points to make it do max damage

so sub boots are going to be pointless no matter what energy they restore, because their idea is to make you only cast one shadowstrike before a finisher, which will restore your energy anyway.
so boots are basically now the absolute worst legendary, because they do NOTHING
