Blackcat Fairy is honestly pretty shit tier. She may sound interesting at first, but what the game doesn't exactly tell you in its lovable Korean Engrish, is that Blackcats count as Pushcats as well. So while she has a higher chance to spawn Blackcats, she at the same time cuts greatly into the spawn time of them with her other effect. Regular Pushcat Fairy gets way more mileage out of your tickets and material grind.

No, it just costs time and during that time you can't do anything with those units like lvling. Getting downed also drops the star power thing of your girls. If you don't have a lot of mech units and don't want to use star cookies, you'll have a lot of down time waiting for them to recover.

Depends on your team and how "new" you actually are.

- Pretty sure the Dragon Kings are out of your reach. Those are absolute endgame material, for very specific L90 teams.
- Vengeful Heart is actually surprisingly manageable for "newer" players running random L70-90 teams, but probably not for very fresh ones. It's pretty easy to get Clara and farm her SB, gettin her job materials and recoding her requires stronger teams though. Clara herself isn't THAT great, while Clara^ is probably the second-best to best Spear unit in the game. Considering VH is a 100% MW original event, it is very likely to return in the future though, most likely sometime in Spring or early Summer. So it's okay to miss out on most of its rewards.
- Bahamut, Leviathan and Odin are on permanent rotation now, meaning each of them is up every 3 weeks. All three of them are pretty decent units and can be recoded to pretty stellar ones later. BLO are generally considered the first challenges newer players should aim for. They were pretty challenging in the early game and each require some certain tactics and teams, but time and powercreep worked for newer players now, given that BLO were not balanced against teams of L70 and higher and companion support.
- Running the Kino or 8bit bosses (Kino are likely easier) is highly suggested to grab some of the more interesting stuff at the Trading Post each week. Every 3 weeks there are Companion Tickets available, which are incredibly cheap and must-gets, since they're 100% eligible for special gacha events. Grinding towards the rare companions is probably harder, but worth it too, if manageable.

Past that, make sure you get the 6* evo items from the event shop. They're a bitch to farm normally, but you can buy a few of them with purple coins and it helps a lot. Granted there isn't much of the hurry (feel free to run to the end of the plot for levels and shit first, it gives enough exp to get you going), but make sure you grab them before the event ends. I would get the 5* weapon ticket and the 4~5* character ticket too, at the very least.

Finally got level 100 in the tower, playing on and off since October. Winning against random Japanese people always feels good lol.

Mostly just outfits now. Animal Renge used to be a staple, but she isn't even worth bothering with anymore.

It's all about predicting when someone's about to use it. When you play against the ice girl or ranko who drops I run straight to the front and volley. It also helps using your special right after they use it and using yours to counter it.

I know a lot of them can be frustrating but if you rerolled for a 4 star you should be OK. Using one character to build up special like a stamina guy and the switching to the better character is what I usually do.

So after playing a little I don't think rerolling is worth the effort in #compass. For one, you can only pull E rank ability cards when rerolling needless to say higher rank cards i assume are going to be stronger. So basically just reroll for a cute girl if that's your thing but it's not very important.

For Starly, i just found out one thing. The resource you use for entering battles are tied to your loadout.
More physical weapons = more red resource used
Energy = green
Particle = blue
while i think yellow is used for everything?

I have this katana dude, his charge is a dashy stabby attack. It hits multiple times and pushes enemies away. Against a wall, it's pretty much an execution.

I think each character has their own strength and weakness. When paired with a good card, it seems to make them shine a lot more.
The cards I have in my deck are a speed buff, attack buff, and two launchers. The launchers punts opponents away pretty far, and they're downed long enough to charge attack their face.

One of the female character either has a self detonate upon death or it's either a card. Whatever the case, it really hurts.

I use my Amata and Isami a lot. Great stroke and stamina characters. They great technique killers (+10% damage on technique characters) and build their SS pretty fast. They might seem like shit but place a good stroke racket on Amata and he'll hit like a truck and stamina shoes on Isami and he'll live pretty long.

Yeah google translate says her tap gives 30% blind and her slide gives 50% blind to 4 enemies or something? Blind being a chance to miss, she just sounds irritating to play against. She got increased damage too but it didn't seem a lot, gives me an excuse to use her now over my other attacker and get that skin so it's a win anyway.

its an okay amount of exp fodder for mechs but outside of that i agree the exp for pilots/captain is abysmal on easy and medium.

The gacha ticket drop rate increses a bit in medium but the difficulty spikes up so high in comparison. What ive been doing is just sending out 1 person + 1 friend/guest on easy mode and stopping before the boss since its easy enough to auto. Ive only drawn from gacha box around 25 times so far so you just need to get lucky you get the character asap

So the most relevant cats of this week's Hiso Bar for ver 4.5 seem out of the bag:
- Those dragon-centaur-somethings, Murasaki (Gravity mage) and Kurenai (Fire/Sword hybrid), will be 3-job Z-classes that don't seem quite on par with Shinen & Mutoh. Lower stats, seemingly not-so-ridiculous skillsets. Hopefully this means they will be easier to obtain and max for more players.
- They'll get Luck-otomos from TP that seem somewhat special, didn't really get how though.
- Odin Kino will join the Kino troupe. Looked kinda cute.
- Mobius FF collab returns on Dec 22/23 with the recoded tier, opening up the possibilty to recode Echo. She LOOKS pretty rad, but seeing how they pissed all over her stats, she remains pretty weakish. Doesn't help that each recode will require 5 special collab items as well as a collab monster, so grinding her to 100L will be a challenge.
- There will be special offers at the TP over the christmas days, inlcuding Excalibur/Gungnir/Apollo, the 4 Tier-3 elemental Spirits and some trash. Supposedly these will still cost Animata Hair, so people can already save up for these offers. Another round of items early January will provide reruns of Omicron otomos, including MizellO, BahlO, AminaO, and DaianaO among others, for those who missed them. There'll also be a White Candle, which is great for SBing.
- There's supposedly gonna be a huge stamina change coming up that sounded somewhat worrying and like a really BAD idea if I got it right. Supposedly stamina will regen every 2 instead of 5 minutes - BUT maximum stamina might be cut down (halved?) in return. I'll leave that to the people with better understanding and/or ingame news.

That's my main issue with it too. The current system is quite friendly towards people who actually have a job and can fully recharge over the day and night. I suppose I could even live with the new system, but a complete revamp like that would also require going back to the drawing board with stamina costs for challenge quests and a complete revamp for those. The scary part is that half-assed "Oh, let's downgrade max stamina, surely this won't fuck up ANYTHING!" plans like these sound exactly like what Mistwalker would do. Not to forget that refilling stamina for Energy would suddenly become a horrible deal - or even more horrible than before, depending on your mileage.

I still hope I either got the details wrong or Nips will slap MW left and right for that like they did with the 8bit Boss difficulty.

Doing dailies gets you 1k a day, if you do rebirth up 10 yimes and up to level 4 is another 200, pvp 10 times is like 100 or so. You can nearly get a 10 roll every other day if you max out 3*s and 4*s.

Artemis was comparable to 5*s before updates, a lot of updates have put the trash 5*s way up there. She's still very good and worth it since she'll be easier to limit break then a 5* attacker.

I'm panicking in the last day to try and get to Platinum, but I keep finding ways that this game can screw me outside of balance issues
>Either of Auto Skill / 2x speed mode settings can screw up and turn themselves back on/off next match when coming back from playing PVE, and will stay bugged for the consecutive PVP
>Dead enemies in the middle of their dying poof animation is still valid for targeting by attacks and debuffs
>Even if the buff/debuff effects icons show up REALLY slowly, they're still being applied at the moment of ability use and you might have no way of knowing about a random Confusion on your crit slide attacker until it's too late
>apparently no more than one character can have critting available at the same time
