It felt so fucking gratifying when Raiders had their retartedly unfair pvp advantage taken away and it stopped being a struggle to kill them.

I made a habit of spending most of my time camping raid and heroic entrances. A year of being restricted to blues and OEB to fight no lifers in T2+ just because they could play the game 12 hours a day for 5+ days a week, and I now had free reign to make them suffer because actually being good now mattered.

How the fuck would I prove this? The server is down along with all the chinks that would be ranking otherwise. You can notice if a different guy is playing the same character just by their playstyle in premades.
You could look at the bracket leaders from realmplayers, pick out the chinks and watch their ingame activity. They would never log off, they all sit in the same internet cafe taking shifts playing the account.

Add to this the chinks also sold BR1 spots for an obscene amount of money. I think standing 1 for one week was 200$-300$, some western premades didn't put up with this and started breaking brackets and fighting them by grinding honor nonstop.
One week honorcap was at like 1.4 million, chinkmades couldn't keep up with this as they don't actually win the majority of games they play. They literally lost against pugs in their 15man premade decked out in R10-R12 gear.

My beef from the start of the game is that gearing was too much of a focus.

Honestly gearing should be a 30minute ordeal tops where you weight the costs/benefits, outfit yourself, and then go kill people and have fun, rather than running a treadmill where all you do is work and grind, and not have fun.

Most of my time in vanilla was spent in BRM fighting people who outgeared me by a lot, and I always hated instanced pvp like battleground. I managed to get the full blue set from just camping BRM, getting an OEB was just a lucky roll from a pug.

BC was pretty much perfect, you played your 10 games a week for points and could spend all your time battling the opposite faction, which is the whole point of the warcraft universe.

Or not. I can't remember if it was changed before BC or not but originally certain races could not use some mounts due to size differences. Like for example Tauren could only use Kodo and Worgs.

However, if you want to use another race's mount, you need to grind reputation with that race before they'll allow you to use it. Which is basically the reason the Cloth Donation quests were created.

Should I roll a hunter on both the old server and the new one?

I want to main a hunter on the fresh server but also want to play the old one while I wait. I've never played a hunter in vanilla before so I'm not sure if I should play it on the old server to practice for the new one. I had a level 30 warrior on old nost but I don't care about it and I'm too lazy to use their shitty character recovery system.

Was considering maybe leveling a druid instead on the old realm then going hunter on the fresh one since I kind of want to try healing.

Hunter 1-10 in vanilla is prob the most aids experience in any video game. You have to have some mental defect to be able to withstand it.

if you averaged out all of the servers since there were a lot of low ones you would probably see 2-4k average pops

nost will have a cap of 8k apparently, but knowing this team they will probably change or remove that without ever telling anyone why

but assuming it is locked to 8k that's probably over double what 95% of blizzard servers had back in the day
