its a complete joke - if keeping tanks alive is the problem you can even run with MORE healers than vanilla setups (which usually had 15 or so, whereas pservers cut it to roughly 10 since they actually have good output unlike people in vanilla) - DPS kill the boss faster, healers are twice as effective, and tanks do more threat and have better mitigation and more HP (AQ gear + proper consums is harder to kill than naxx gear, especially with good healers. if you're struggling on a boss you bet your ass your guild will go pick up worldbuffs once the mechanics are down after a few wipes)

Things I never said for $200, Alex. I said players can use this knowledge to their advantage to make content easier, i never said they do or even that once they do they are pros.

I've said was that having the information available was a huge boon that means players can more easily become top players if they want to, or even just above average by reading a few guides. Vanilla was never "hard" it was just not figured out by the majority of players on retail because it was so massive at the time and people did not seek to figure out every world buff or consumable for maximum dps.

Hunters and warlocks are the FASTEST to level in the game, as well as the SAFEST.
Warlocks and paladins get free mounts, making them the CHEAPEST to level.
Druids, paladins, priests, and shamans are all healers meaning they have HIGH PLAYABILITY at level 60.
Warriors are the only tanks in the game, but they can become saturated. If you're willing to go from 0 to 60 as fast as possible, sacrificing your personal life, you can get a guaranteed raidspot leveling a warrior.
Rogues and mages are good if you know what you're doing. They get no mount, no lite-mount spells, no heal slots, no tank slots, and only have a modicum of usefulness in PvP, and that's mainly in World because of their ganking capabilities, though rogues shine in WSG and mages in AV.

If you absolutely cannot decide, then I would say pick a druid. They can do a little bit of everything, just not very well, but at least you can figure out which parts of the class you enjoy the most, and use it to carry over to a better class to play as.

There was a dude from old real nihilum playing on elysium in a leveling guild i was in when i was there briefly. I thought he was full of shit and he was really really difficult to talk to, like more spergy than /vg/. Nice, just very odd and very vocal and wanting to argue about politics in gchat (which is always retarded).
Some others didn't believe him either and asked Kungen about him on some unrelated stream and kungen actually remembered him. So i felt pretty stupid and it's a good example that I don't know shit about shit.
Nothing much to add past that, just felt it was semi-interesting. I don't even remember his name now and not sure it matters.
