I dislike the patch somewhat. I don't hate it since I don't care that much about Dota anymore and just play ranked casually, but if I had some emotional connection with Dota I'd probably be angrier.

I actually find the talent trees genuinely cool and think they add to the game, much more than stats.

I can't really get over the new map with infinite bounty runes, easy gold and XP for everyone and the camps only spawning every 2 minutes. Lane control irrelevant, farming patterns irrelevant, etc. Pretty annoying.

I guess I'll play supports or offlaners now. Collect your bounty rune to have fun.

copying consumables mostly affects 1/2 mangos to get mileage out of the spells, but a hero's mana-restore mechanics are only a balance issue if their spells are an issue. for arc, that mainly affects ghosts - so nerf the ghosts, why take this away?
changes like this highlight how little the balance team knows about why heroes are imbalanced. you cant just blindly kneecap something for having a high winrate and even think thats a step in the right direction, let alone actual balance.

Obviously the former EG playes like Peter have the Capital to buy out the former corporate stake in the organization but who fronted the money besides Peter?

DoTA just requires way too much time investment. Every game is at least 30 minutes, sometimes an hour, and all that time I'm stuck as a single hero doing the same thing over and over. It gets even worse when we're getting stomped but the enemy takes their time to finish, because then I'm stuck there despite having zero chance of winning.

It's just way too much time to justify the dissatisfaction I often feel after a match, win or lose.
