If I was in charge of story mode I would try to make it far more focused and not even try to include so many characters. Fuck some characters.

Cheating on PC is simple because the machine lets players run their own code and read the memory of the games they're playing.

This means if a game wants to be played competitively, EVERYTHING has to be stored on the servers.

Imagine how fucking awful DotA 2 would've been if fog of war, enemy skill cooldowns, etc. were all stored client side.

PC is my primary platform, but PC games have to take absurd amounts of precaution to prevent cheating. Valve and Blizzard can host their own dedicated servers to weed out shit like this, but not a tiny fighting game company.

What mainly gets me annoyed is the wall-bounce move. I can accept getting my ass kicked with anything else she has but I can't stand the wall-bounce shit. Logically I understand that it's no different than any other major damage combo but seeing my character being thrown across the entire screen with that much exaggeration and STILL hitting the wall-bounce stun before clumsily and limply falling into a full-screen-away Mika headbutt and/or dropkick is somehow even more depressing than getting thrown 5 times in a row.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Everyone has something that triggers them differently in fighters. This is mine, I guess.

This is a good read if you care about fighting games. If Street Fighter goes under, we're in for a world of pain because the only big fighting games will be the NRS offerings. I'm not sure how to help save the FGC, but Capcom definitely needs to make some changes to SFV that can at least quell the backlash created by the games entire development thus far. If Season 2 doesn't blow us away I'm expecting a large drop in both viewership and entries for SFV tournaments next year.
