Do you think Dragonpulse/vein are worth it? I can hit R7 between Odd Eyes, Vein and Astrogragh, and the Ebon Illusion meme to pull pulse from deck for a banish and Startime fodder is pretty nice so far.

So I've been watching the old hsow since Arc-v has been dissapointing me lately, and I never realised how many of the old cards worked entirely differant to there real life counterparts. Battle ox had resistance to fire, Dinosaur cards were weak to Flame swordsman, monsters like harpies had flying similar to magic teh gathering cards, and Gater guardian was made of three seperate pieces that could be attacked and destroyed individually. I know it won't happen, but I would love to see retrains of all these cards so they work similarly to things that happened in the old show.

I actually played some of those, its fun killing off blue eyes with things like Kuribohs. Still it would be fun to get some retrains of old monsters. Like a Gate guardian thats abit closer to how it was in the show, or a great moth that can decrease your opponants attack, similar to its poison dust in the show. The fire resistance armor battle ox had could just be something like this card can't be destroyed by fire monsters, maybe also a stat increase when fighting them, stuff like that.

I still have no idea what OCG was thinking with EmEm.
It was starting to push everything out but then they nuke Atlanteans, HERO and Pendulum Magicians for the banlist and give it even MORE broken support in the following set and it broke the game.
Then with the next banlist they tried to kill the Performage engine to see if that would stop the deck but it adapted into Dracoslayers with Performapals instead.
Then April 2016, they obliterated it along with Monarchs and Burning Abyss and Pendulums which aren't Metalfoes have been limping on ever since.
Why didn't they just kill the deck in December I'll never know, it's like they had no idea how resilient the pendulum mechanic can be with enough consistency.

Dragonpit is great as always, Dragonpulse is perfectly fine to run a copy or two of as well, Nobledragon is a bit outdated now that Tuning/Tune exist, Oafdragon is crucial as ever, especially with Tune Magician's restriction, Insight is always great.

Pendulum Call is still fine search, a lot of people just don't like it now since it interferes with the new Magicians and Pendulumgraph of Ages has somewhat replaced its functionality. I don't use it in my build, myself.

I think last time I posted my build the responses were along those lines, and they're not wrong. It's not competitive though that's not to say it can't stomp baddies, really just casual shittery for playing tags and with friends. I need to put together a more competitive one sometime but it works great for what it's intended for. I play with more fusion/synchro focus than Xyz.

Opening Abductor is nutty but I'm definitely going to remove her to let the deck flow better, especially when Zarc comes out. I've never particularly needed 3 Tunes since I can easily recycle her whenever I want her anyway. I love Amazing Pendulum and had it before (my side is full of cards I've considered/used to run) but found that I either never drew it or never needed it when I did.

Nirvana and Raging Dragon aren't nearly as hard to get out as I thought they'd be, either.

Here's mine. Props to whoever said they were messing around with Echo Oscillation, it's a fun card.

Triple Astrograph for Zarc and the search effect is actually good while giving you options for putting bodies on board outside your Pendulum Summon. A shame it's not a Magician for Enlightenment Paladin.

Triple of each Dimension Dragon magician because I'm intending to play Zarc no matter what, also the deck feels to flow better with more level 4 bodies. The only one I'd even consider dropping down is White Wing because it's not a DARK Spellcaster so there's little synergy the other new magicians.

That's a pretty clean build. I don't like White Wing too much myself since WIND Attribute and lack of a floating effect really does hurt her usability. 1-2 is fine since she's cute. 3 Astrograph when you're running that many copies of the Magicians is a real good idea, though.

I remember when Echo Oscillation first came up and it does seem like an interesting idea. Free draws, pops your scales whenever you need it to. My card rulings are rusty, can you still get Spacetime's effects if you chain Echo targeting the same card?

True Kings feel incomplete. They have neat searchers but not a lot to actually search. They could use some more graveyard fuckery, too.

A few tips if you don't mind:
- Tuning Magician+Oafdragon=Clear Fast Synchro Dragon
- Drop 1 Absolute. The deck focus is R4NK. You play him less and less right now.
- Kirin and Chronograph+Oafdragon=Utopia Beyond. Still a wincon by itself.
- Scarlight and Black Rose are useful synchros vs swarming decks and enemy pendulum. You nuke the field.
- Black Fang and Violet Poison are your best pendulum cards/scales. Try at 3.
- If you are playing more fusion/synchro monsters then max your tuners. Tuning Magician is really useful.
- Dragonpulse is a worst Chronotrap. You can drop it.
- Dragonpit can be dropped if you max Tune Magician and Violet Poison.
- DESU the dimensional dragons from the extra are outclassed but I understand they are the reason to play the deck.
