I'd say it's not as bad because it's impossible to lose progress on beating them. Even if your team is crap, as long as someone can DPS the shit out of Odin you still have a chance at winning. Odin isn't as bad because you have 3 shared energy bars and the shared energy bar is restored through the healing of every single character, meaning that a single character with good healing can restore a good chunk of health and carry any shitter

Check the Google doc for shadowland. It has a list of all the rooms a given floor can have, three of which are selected randomly. Plan your early runs around that. Don't have the link myself, but I'm sure somebody else does.

Also, universal characters still work on type-based floors, they're just not as effective. If you have Loki you may want to try him out on that rumble floor.

Chests suck for the most part. More DD and fucking shitty norns where I've got 4, 5 or 6k of each type.
Dealing with shitters is a huge pain in the ass, inviting friends and alliance members is a must.

That said, it seems an okay way to test T2s, and the gold from chests is ok and 750k extra gold a week is better than nothing.
