It's bannable cause it's basically instant-death for the player, to my knowledge there's no way you can get around it even if your team was there to help.

You used to be able to drop an item behind the killer and unhook the survivor by clipping through them, but that's just a glitch/exploit. (and I don't even think it works anymore?)

You wouldn't unless you're going for Hag's "Get 4 Sacrifices with your 3 unique Perks" achievement.

Her Perks, while decently strong, are fucking awful because they're easy as shit to spot and easy as shit to turn off.
Third Seal really shouldn't even have a Totem, just make it cap at 2 Survivors and scale 50/75/100 with Tiers.
Ruin is good and arguably fine as a Totem if Totems weren't total garbage that required 5 seconds investment.
Devour Hope has a Token system we've only seen on Myers' Play With Your Food before and it's really fucking good, but the Totem thing makes it utterly irrelevant.

The major problem with Totems as is is that when Survivors know they're being run, they can drop everything and hunt for them or just grab them when they see them in passing.
And it's nearly impossible to defend them AND Gens unless the Survivors accidentally fuck themselves and leave last 3 Gens and a lit Totem all in a tight spot the Killer can easily patrol.

I'd like to think I'm an above average survivor, not in a perk trinity infinite abuse kinda way because that's dumb. But I do well with perks you can get with any survivor. Only one I use a LOT that's teachable is Iron Will.

Whoever told you to start with Claudette is leading you on the path to getting the trinity of perks that makes the game baby easy (points wise anyway, you can still die pretty easy it'll just take longer and you'll get more points for it) and makes survivors the overpowered mess that they are. The way they're leading you will only start working once you get all the perks, or at least a few of them.

You need to just try different movements out around killers. It might be strange to say, but usually when the Killer is looking for you, even if you THINK he sees you, stay still. Believe me they miss a lot and the character model's face direction is misleading. The only situations you can be a little more cautious with is a Billy revving the chainsaw, and a Myers potentially secretly stalking you. But those are pretty easy to tell when they're on to you and even if they aren't the risk is worth it most of the time.

The game is so much more complicated when you don't use the huge perk combo it's about trial and error learning what works and what won't. And even then you gotta mix it up and be unpredictable.

But hey, play how you want, it's gonna be a long road though the way you're going about it.

Dark Sense - It's lifesaving to know which gate killer goes to first
No one left behind - delicious points
Urban evasion
Kindred - you'd be surprised how much more often your team will help you if you have this

When I first got into Dead by Daylight, it struck me how restrained the devs were when it came to depictions of pain and violence. Back in the early days, probably the most brutal thing that ever happened to a survivor was getting hooked, and even that came off almost like cartoon physics - just lift them off of the hook and it's like that two-inch diameter steel bar through their shoulder was never even there. Even after they're wounded, their grunts of pain come off more like a bad sprain than the life-threatening injuries they should be. The only parts of the game that seem to actually focus on a survivor's suffering are the DLC killers' moris (and the Shape's pseudo-mori).

I kind of liked it actually. To me, it kind of drove home that all of this running and bleeding and dying is really insignificant compared to the power behind the scenes, the Entity, which has grander and more foreboding ambitions than simply reveling in the cheap thrills of blood'n'guts.

Now that pallet circle is off limits. it's a hell of a lot better than just looping forever and complaining about it. Hag is already braindead easy, once you down someone you can get them to the basement 100% of the time without IG or agitation. Then teleport from a mile away if they get saved.

perks and items in favor for survivals are depend on probability.
decisive strike = must strike in success area or hooked
flashlight = must strike to killer's eye or hit
treadmill course = after 3 times it blocked


but perks in favor for killers are determined
Iron grasp = 100% slow down wiggling points, and in some certain maps killers carry survivals from end of the map to basement
attack speed(idk the perks name) = 2 increase successed/missed attack speed perks are overlapped so killers can strike survivals with almost no delay


so for appropriate balance, killer's abilities have to be nerfed or change to based with probability

No, but I haven't seen a single Hag yet (and I've seen a lot of them) who hasn't abused the wiggle free stun duration. I don't do shit to deserve that crap. And it's made painfully obvious to the killer when I actually try to lose them which is usually how I get caught. I don't normally get downed running, I get downed because I tried to hide somewhere and it didn't work. I don't pallet to pallet, I at most use two pallets, usually it only takes a single one to lose the killer anyway. And none of my perks are part of the cancer meta.

I could not care less about her stun duration being bugged for Decisive Strike because that perk should at the very LEAST be an obsession perk. But when a legit survivor can't wiggle free unless they get dropped IN a pallet or window that's bullshit.
