What if every race had a class unique to them?

Orcs would have a Blademaster. Can only equip weapons in his main hand, has very short bursts of stealth that can't be removed by damage, and otherwise functions like the one in W3. Hit and run. Less utility than rogue, more focus on damage.

What would be the smart choice here?
I feel like trying to lvl that char on Nost launch as far as possible until the new realm releases. What would be a realistic goal to achieve in those 2-3 weeks with about 4-6h a day playtime? Lvl55?

I know one of the pvp servers is gonna be superior to the other (population, queues etc) So I really want to have 60s on both realms.

On Kronos you can easily pull 1 mob out of a pack because none of the mobs in the open world are linked properly. Plus there's some weird aggro decay shenanigans so mobs start evading after chasing you for like 30 yards. Neither of these "features" are blizzlike.

Expose armor is only meant to be used on low-armor targets as it reduces armor by a flat amount. And since armor gives diminishing returns on damage reduction, using it on highly armored targets is useless.

You would do more damage with a 3 point eviscerate than you would from a 5 point expose armor on a pala/war.

Thing is, as you start getting level 60 epics, you'll start dealing a lot more damage, but you won't get much more durable. Everyone turns into a class cannon.

Two level 60s fighting with BoE greens will be a very long fight.
Two level 60s fighting with T3 will be a very short fight.

If you have 5 combo points on the warrior already, then chances are he's on quite low HP anyway.

It's a pretty fucking simple equation.

Work out how much of a damage boost you get from using expose armor. If that damage boost is lower than what you get from using eviscerate, then use eviscerate. Unless your expose armor increases your damage by about 20%, eviscerate will always kill the guy faster.

Even if it was 25% more damage, by the time you have 5 combo points on the guy, he should be on 50-75% HP. 25% of what's left is then a 12.5-18.75% damage increase.

And I guarantee you that your eviscerate will deal more than 18.75% of the target's max HP, making eviscerate deal more damage.

Armor gives you less and less DR the more you have.

I do not mean diminishing returns with CC durations.

I mean diminishing returns in that the more armor you stack, the less effective stacking more armor becomes.

100 armor will make a huge difference to someone with 10 armor. It will increase their DR (damage reduction) to like 2%. But 100 armor on someone with 8000 armor will increase their damage reduction by about 0.1%.

Armor does nothing besides giving you damage reduction. And since there is a calculation that turns armor into damage reduction, means that if you halve someone's armor, that does not mean you halve their damage reduction.

That is why expose armor should only ever be used on clothies, leather, and (rarely) mail. If a cloth user has 15% damage reduction and 1500 armor, and you reduce their armor by 2500, they will not just lose their 15% damage reduction, they will take about 10% more damage, too. That is a 25% damage buff for you.

The thing is, if you are fighting a clothie, then they have low armor anyway, meaning eviscerate deals more damage. Which is why expose armor is only actually useful when you have shit gear and can't do 2.5k crits with eviscerate.

If expose armor gives you (in the case of the clothie) a 25% damage bonus, but your eviscerate deals more than 25% of their current (not maximum) HP, then eviscerate will ultimately deal more damage.
