Ok lads im super mega autistic and like to crunch numbers so I came up with a (by the numbers) best possible team. And I want to run an experiment in comp with this but Id like some input first.

The first thing I did was make a list of Utility, or how much a hero can do. This includes Hard and Soft CC, healing, potential to oneshot, and misc bonuses (like scouting and lucios wallride)

I came up with this comp based off of utility alone

Sombra
Reinhardt
Ana
Dva
Mei
Lucio

The total utility of this team is higher than any other configuration, it simply has more tools in its disposal than any other possible team. It also has a high total HP of 1950 total hp.

3 of its memers have healing, one is a self heal. It has two barriers to stop things. A fuck million pounts of hard and soft CC, 3 heros have the potential to oneshot people, and it has hitscan to deal with airborn threats.

So is this just a massive amount of autism or am I onto something here?

will new symmetra changes affect the meta at all? she's not very strong against tanks, but her new kit is pretty good

So have you guys realized yet that for people already ranked last season the placement matches are literally just normal matches that award normal SR increase/reduction on a win loss but they just don't show it to you until the end when they "place" you?

I mean, to be honest there's no real point to even having seasons other than to give out the rewards at the end of each one. Blizzard are just tricking everybody into thinking that it's not just one single continuous season with superficial 'breaks' and fake placement matches to make it feel like there are multiple seasons.

for real guys, the tiers in this game are completely retarded. blizzard has no idea what they are doing with competitive matchmaking. the highest rank being 3% of the playerbase is retarded, especially considering they can occasionally get matched with diamond or even worse players.

compare it to league of legends where the two highest ranks combined are under 1% of the playerbase and platinum is top 10%. diamond is under 3% and it has a huge variation of skill in it between d5 and d1.

maybe im just overthinking it because skill and knowledge is less important in this game but it seems retarded.

I just wanted to try it out, but then I noticed how much better some characters sound.
Especially D.va. The English voice is so terribly forced (if I hear WINKYFACE! one more I would kill myself), but I'm already used to Japanese cutesy voices, and I like her Japanese VA.
Some other characters I like their voice a lot, and Sombra just has my favorite voice actor of all time.
I'm also starting to get really used to the Japanese ult lines, for example I don't even know what Ana says in English.

also it's 100 armor which is better than HP. she's literally the tankiest character in the game. and even if that weren't the case and her buffs weren't massive, her changes aren't the only reason why she is relatively so much better now. she is a good nanoboost target now since she doesn't need the speed as much and appreciates the tankiness and damage and ultimates changing slower are good for her since her ulti is not really a combat ulti like most.
