it's debatable now but the mutz will have been firmly overtaken in 9.17

mutz already has a bouncy turret along with more pen, better mobility and 150m/s faster shell travel speed among other things.

kr is a good tank but the mutz is better right now and it will still be a slightly better tank post patch, the only really standout feature on the kr is the gun dispersion values.

atleast get an actual game sample size on it before you praise it and try to compare it to other tanks.

I tried installing the GuP crew addon, but some of the crew members weren't replaced. As I understood all the image files were like germany-1 and this should have replaced the images for them. Anyone else have this issue before?

you can open gui.pkg with 7zip
then you have to recreate that folder hierarchy in res_mods, like so: World of Tanks\res_mods\0.9.16\gui\maps\icons\tankmen\icons

then you unzip the 3 icon folders in here
"barrack" are the portraits you see in the barracks, they can be identical to "small"
"big" are the portraits you see when you open the profile of a crew member
"small" are the portraits you see in the garage

the best way to do it is to have 2 full sets of GuP portraits (small and big) in separate folders, and then replace the original portraits one by one with whichever garupan you want

Chances of that are pretty high, 907 was buffed before its release, T95E6 was buffed before and after release, VK72 was buffed twice and is getting it's third buff in next patch. The only one that received no love is M60.

Ty kind soul. I tried this last night before going to bed and I figured it all out.

My only question is... Why the fuck didn't the maker of the addon just already have duplicate copies of the characters images? Half of the pain was simply copying pictures and renaming for the crew in question. If there were already 2 sets of images for each GuP nation crew then it would only be renaming files themselves instead of actually copying/pasting/renaming over 30-50 separate times for crew members.

As far as I can tell the only reason is the mod maker is lazy af. They make the assumption you won't be using all the characters images more than once (yet you have to because there are more crew members than there are GuP images to replace them).

GuP crewman was actually the hardest addon to install and have work out of any MMO/game addon I've ever used. The forum post with the mod pack doesn't actually explain, in detail, how to replace the crew images. There are no online detailed accounts of how to do it so it took like 3.5 fucking hours.
