I'd say go with the illuminated hair color since the game's shadow makes it darker, it's just that shadows work different from the 2d drawing. So in your case I suggest making it brighter and most likely a tad less saturated if you want accuracy. If you're toy then you know full well that you're biased towards the deep dark saturated colors so decide whether you want to adjust for it.

Also a general question about mods/character cards. I see there's a bunch of futa mods for different sizes and balls and such using the same slots. So does this mean I can only make futas using one of these mods or can I make one char with one mod, install a different mod and make a different char etc. Then load the different chars in the game and have them show their respective mod versions? Or does the latest mod I install overwrite it and I have to stick with one mod for all my futas?

well, they're test# releases because compatibility is not a priority at this point and there are a few features that are heavily WIP. I submitted a commit that WILL break at least the mesh overrides (changed directory from data\texture\override to data\override so the fix is just updating your card manually) but I don't know when or if it will be included. So if compatibility is a major concern for you you can stick to the released version but you'll be missing a lot of features.

So need some help. Tried to apply one of the stand alone outfit mods but kept crashing my game when I hit play. Deleted the mod and all its files and still crashing when I hit play and generating an unreadable crash report. Any one have a clue how to fix this without having to reinstall or some bullshit?

I don't know the finer details but as much as you add hairs with bones, you also add their shadows. And yes, shadows are a big bottleneck in the game.

there is a checkbox allowing you to embed the overrides into the card. It becomes very heavy so I suggest sharing 2 versions. Card+mods also can't be used as a post image.

that fix only lowers the hip. It's pretty much Lena's fixes applied to more body type combinations. I haven't touched the tongue animation but I imagine it would be easy to combine. She does grind very close tho. That patch also includes fixes for other positions: nipple licking, breast fondling and cunnilingus.

you can include any override in the card. Basically anything you set up in the AAU window. If your design really depends on the vanilla body then you can make it override whatever is installed. The bSaveFileAutoRemove feature doesn't work properly tho: whatever you add to the card stays on it so keep your clean AAU cards intact to avoid the bloat. From experience leg files are very heavy(~20MB, I used it to set garters for a card) and the body is probably even more so.

Actually, I isolated both versions of the game I had and tried to carry over the mods I already had into the pre-installs AAInstall folder .
Then I found out that the subtitle overlay was missing and got that in order.
But then alot of my cards got eyebrowed, so I assume some HEXA was missing.
