You can try what i've done, which is to make a big effort in getting fit, sleeping right, eating clean, and investing time into things that interest you.
I'm in great shape now and working from home.
I still hate myself, however. But I'm convinced it's a good start and hoping if I keep it up I'll get better.
I've spent years with various anti-depressants and haven't had much success, but talking with a doctor could be a good step for you as well. Everyone is different.

As it is now, no one would feed my dog if i wasn't around, so I need to be here for her at least. And I can't handle the thought of killing myself and knowing that I'll be found a week from now and making my dog feel guilty for eating my eyeballs or whatever.

It's technically possible for them to ding you for violating the TOS if you talked about it in a forum post, but not anywhere realistic.
