Currently, I heard many players all over the world are enjoying themselves. I'm really pleased.

As promised from before launch, FFXV will continue to update and provide a rich gaming experience. As gratitude for exceeding 5 million copies, this time I decided to strengthen the update plan considerably beyond the original schedule and inform you of a concrete road map.

This is an update to make the FFXV gaming experience more rich, play for a longer time, and is an update based on requests from players after release. This is a special update in addition to the DLC already in development. It is one we will serve for free, with short term, medium term, and long term goals.


ROADMAP:

Short-term:

First we will further increase the satisfaction of Chapter 13's gameplay. For that reason, we are already making many enhancements, like increasing the power of the ring as an example. We will inform you of details of new content at a later date.

Medium-term:

We want to strengthen the execution of the second half of the game, by enhancing the storytelling. For example, we are planning to add an event scene to give more backstory and information on Ravus. This will take a while since we have to localize into several different languages. More details will be announced soon.

Long-term:

We want to make important characters that appeared in the main story, playable. We will also consider adding an avatar system to create original characters.

Other stuff:

We will add in New Game+, low level runs, invincibility options and increase font size to make text easier to read.

Just started out record keeper, and I don't know what is going on. I rolled a few times on the 1/2 banners, but idk how well I did.

Am I doing okay? Do I focus on story mode to get characters?

Just beat Adamantoise, one solid hour at level 85.

Getting the platinum in at 0.1% global completion feels pretty good, I've never been in on the ground floor of a FF release like this before.

What the heck were you supposed to do when he had his "vulnerable" cinematic? His whole body is so wonky, I never had a solid grasp on whether I was hitting the right zone at any time. Just spammed magic/tech on the fins and aimed for the eyes with slashes the whole fight.

Either way, Adamantite Bangle is pretty tight for Prompto. Instantly solves his biggest flaw, though it suffers some pretty bad diminishing returns for the rest of the party, since HP is capped.

Pretty sad it's a story-only summon (to my knowledge) along with Ifrit being boss-only.

Was pretty crazy to realize that we had all seen the Six in the painting without realizing exactly who they were. Still remember most people thought the Lucii were Knights of the Round, which makes sense.

More content featuring the Lucii would be nice. Each one had their own design and a bit of personality, but they were all gone in a flash.

The transformation from ghost to immortal guardian was pretty sick too. They even brought back the outfit from the old trailers, when Regis had a younger design (for the Regalia's death scene).

I don't think I can disentangle the development mythology from the canonical game in my head. They all just swim together.

Depends on what your full breaker is. Definitely blows Ingus or Faris out of the water, and shames 5* WoL. 6* WoL serves another purpose though. Agrias is still viable and Vaan holds his own when he gets a 6*, but all in all 6* Rain is a very helpful unit and raising him is a solid idea.

That's only with skill enhancements, which he got only one month ago in JP. Without them he's near the bottom of 6*s, providing a bit of physical damage with no utility. (Basically the same role he has as a 5* just a little better)

This. After what SE pulled with FFXIII I decided to take a break from their games. At least until FFXV and if FFXV ended up being a dud, I'd be done indefinitely. I thought the game felt unfinished and with several plot holes just to find out the plot holes would be filled in with DLC. Are they serious? Is the one time Snow pack worth it? I'm way, way behind the power curve and doing this event to get 6* materials is just not going to be feasible when I can barely clear the one that shits out 30 gears.

At this stage I'd rather spend my lapis on something that will give me a solid boost in power than gamble it on the gacha, I have enough decent units to be working with, but if it's shit value for lapis I'll leave it alone.

There is a postgame. Once you have defeated the final boss you will be given the option to save and load, and then you'll be at the last resting point where you can summon the time dog and do whatever you want.
As well as unlock the postgame dungeons, which are those ominous locked doors you may have come across in the depths of certain dungeons.

Fina has Cheer which your team lacks. All Ingus has over her is Esuna which 6* CoD gets for the whole party. You can run Luneth/CoD/Exdeath/Fina/Faris and have a decently balanced party or drop Exdeath and go Luneth/CoD/Bartz/Fina/Faris for full on physical action.

Ingus is like the second to worst full breaker only ahead of Sazh. Faris is better than Ingus.
