Does anyone have experience with mods in here?

I want to have the freedom of playing different vocations when I'm a higher level. Is it feasible to level as both a sorceror and assassin, so I can a balance of magick and attack? Will I still be able to do good damage if I play a vocation that relies only on magick or only on attack?

You won't take any fall damage. As far as mobility skills go, Mad Dash (Upgrade from Sprint) is really cool to dash around the fight and also give you a cool sliding trip attack. You can also use it to cross between the legs of any large beasts

Alright so I'm Post-Dragon and can take any fight in the Everfall pretty well but when I finally decided to hit up BBI I could NOT damage an Elder Ogre.

Is it just that I need better gear/more levels? Lvl54 as an assassin and fivefold, dire gouge and powder keg were all doing nothing of value. Barely got it two bars down before I said fuck it and just left the area.

If you did enough damage you'll get a pity reward if you miss the kill. Even the rewards from a kill aren't that great though. The weapons are outclassed by bbi gear, as is most of the armor. I think the gloves are alright though since they have such high sleep resist.

This isn't always 100% accurate, but it's better than nothing if you just want to try and get in on a few kills to complete your collection. Some people like the masks for fashion.

So im lvl 60 ish first run just finished main story, first run through BBI. Killed everything legit(except for the first gorecyclopse, necroplange and eliminators) then gets stuck in the room with 2 condemned gorecyclopses. Left to purify gear, got absolutely nothing.

All i got were crappy resist rings and a bunch of "usable" items that gives buffs and shit, what do i even do with them?
when am i going to start getting weps and armor so i can actually kill shit?
Should i level up more before going so i can actually clear instead of grab and run on chests and get raped by maneaters anyway?

I clocked around 120 hours playing the console version, just bought the PC one for a decent performance without letterboxing. What's a decent, not necessarily min-max autistic, leveling plan for a Mystic Knight MC and Ranger Pawn? Is Hard mode any good? It sounds like it fucks up the early game by making it too hard, then fucks up the late game by screwing with your leveling/balancing.

Honestly it's fighter and warrior bandits that push my shit in on hard mode, ranged and casters are easy to neutralize quick with headshot fivefolds or mighty bends but Fighter and warrior will not stagger, ever no matter how much you hammer them with arrows in the face. See, I can kite the fighters and warriors well enough, takes a long ass time to kill them, but as long as I don't get ballsy or get caught off guard when reviving a pawn, I can put them down. I use a rusted bow, so I can't really damage the bow users much unless I get up close, plus they always seem to cover each other when there's more than one, so while I'm chopping up one, another will snipe me. And fuck casters, a single ingle or 3 magick bolts to the face and I'm dead.

Hard is pretty crummy for a Warrior on account of the stagger resist.

Dunno how hard is 'better' for anyone though. Even in the best case scenario you just end up playing the 'shroom-chomping game while unnecessarily power-leveling. Best thing I found about hard is maximizing the dcp you give to hires out in BBI, but it's basically less fun to play all around.

Amusingly the increased enemy damage is kinda whatever, even for melee. It's the stamina management, doubled xp/dcp, and stagger resist that makes hard mode janky.

I want to play as a big strong arisen with a harem of useless guardian loli pawns to protect.

Early on you're fragile anyhow, and later on you can just overpower stuff even on hard. So there's this middle area where it's a decent balance, and the double xp from hard will catapult you past it anyhow.

The game doesn't tell you, but you have to press buttons in addition to directions. Even still, it feels like I'm going to break something with how frantically you have to mash to get out under normal circumstances. If the enemy is torpored it's pretty easy to get out. There's also an augment for easier escapes, but I can't justify the slot.
