He's a true enigma, the only character who never fully opens up to you no matter what you do. He's always got a secret up his sleeve, and only when you push him to his very limits does he start to unleash his true potential. Frisk is a blank slate. Literally as generic as possible to the point where it actually becomes unique. Chara has a bit more lore, not necessarily character, and their actions only really come to fruition in the genocide route where you start to get a glimpse into what they want.

Fair enough. Also, all you can get from Frisk (their name) is derived from True Pacifist, and Chara only gives hints of character in genocide, and even then it's minimal.
I think (personally) when a blank slate is used, you are supposed to project on them. It's easier for the developer (since Toby is a hack), and sometimes it's better for the player- hence the continuing fanbases and headcanons everyone creates for Frisk and Chara.

Of course, in doing this you get completely retarded shit, and some well-thought through fan-theories and stuff about others' interpretations and projections which mean nothing because ultimately, Frisk and Chara are nothing. Except what you make.

I don't think they hate monsters in general, but they're indifferent since if you start killing them you gain power. Asriel himself might be a different story however, since everyone else you kill them and just carry on, but with Flowey you slice him to paste.

AFAIK one-shots outside of genocide only happen on betrayal kills. Striking at a monster's weak point while their defenses are down with cruel and cold-hearted malice will kill any monster since their strength comes from their emotion.

Well, the flavor text in the manual is very similar to the one ingame, so if one is said by Chara, it logically follows the other should be said by Chara too.

Another thing is that the various characters that are present in the ruins (eg Toriel, Flowey, Napstablook), occasionally make comments on the manual pages. You know their text is distinct from the flavor text because it's noticeably smaller.

In the stats page, there is a comment by an unseen character, you can tell it's a comment by the fact that it's in a smaller font, as well as having a different style of speaking to the flavor text. That comment is rather dark, and its speaking style is similar to that of Chara at the end of geno.

That comment is there on neutral and pacifist runs. On geno runs, Chara very blatantly overtakes the whole manual.

I have a theory:
Before the concert they were given free snacks. Whatever they were, they tasted really good, but weren't exactly healthy, so by the time concert began everybody started to experience sligth stomach ache and increased bowel movements.
