I have a Mogami. I enjoy her greatly. However her lack of radar and having no future prospect of Radar makes me sad, because I would very much like to bully baDDies and bong cruisers who use smoke to hide.

Are American cruisers worth it for the radar? I have a Cleaveland, and am reluctant to get the Pensacola due to it having shit concealment and a very exposed citpussy, and it just seems like it would be a pain in the ass to grind through. And even then I don't know if the New Orleans is any good, or even what tier USN cruisers get radar.

T8 is ideal because ships are still maneuverable and just deadly enough to allow for interesting gameplay. Plus more variety in selection, even if some of that selection are premium ships. Pro play is already about smoke camping, it would only get worse at T10.

Limit the number of ships that can be repeated. For example: no more than 1 Bismarck per team, only 2 Bensons, etc.

Domination or Hotzone modes. Standard or straight out deatmatch/max-damage would end up only in long range camping and kiting.

If we're talking about small scale tournaments or something (less than 7v7 or whatever which would be good to play but assuming we can't get whole teams together) I've always liked 3v3.
It's the size of a larger div for people who enjoy/are used to playing those, and you can have either 1 of each of the good classes or a more varied mix of others, and it wouldn't be too difficult to work out times for 6 people as opposed to like 14 - 24.

Not him but its a flawed rationale that you would get enough free XP from missions in the Campaigns, super crates and game play to bring the conversion price for the remaining XP down to $40-$50-ish. This is totally untrue, insofar as you could get it for free by the same token by just saving for months and months, but to even get 300-400k free XP saved up, the equavilant of about $50-$60 worth of exchange (at the favorable 35-1 rate) you still need another 400k to 350k to earn flat, which still would take months even with the Campaigns and such.

I've already played as/against it and screwed around with it in the Training room. I got cits on it in my Monty, Yam, *and* Iowa, at all the same ranges and angles that I could cits on Iowa. Its exactly the same in BB vs. BB fights. I assume that it gives extra protectiong from CA's rounds but that would be about it (and kinda unnecessary due to low damage from CA cits and rarity anyway).

And for a high tier (10) CV, I can only think of a few appropriate ones, Midway, which is already on the tree, the Intrepid, which if upgraded fits well. The Enterprise COULD work but they'd have to stick T10 planes on it to make it fair which would look odd since all the images of it are pretty consistent showing F6's and F8. No UK CV makes sense (from a prem/famous ship standpoint at T10).

T10 is bad because the powercreep encourages people to play in a way that mitigates risks to their ships, and thus leads to passive gameplay. If suddenly everyone is more afraid of getting within secondary range of other ships, then people don't want to brawl, you buff the shit out of torpedoes and suddenly you get the same kind of problems that the Shimakaze caused before they nerfed it a while back where people are too scared to move into torpedo range of anything because of how devastating it is to eat even one and how much harder they are to dodge meaning that most players will just avoid the problem altogether.
Those US CAs won't get to use their fancy secondaries because suddenly they have much deadlier BBs and DDs to deal with while still having to get within suicide range to get any noticeable change.

Who knows, it's possible that the Missouri will do worse than they wanted because at the end of the day people who are willing to grind out 750k XP and spend the money to convert it all for a single ship (as opposed to at least an entire line of ships to T10 like usual) are not going to be a huge set of the playerbase.
People can justify $60 for a T8, but I bet they'd have a harder time trying to convince a significant portion of the playerbase to spend $130, or especially outside of NA where most of the players are located, significantly more ($170 here) for a single T9 premium, especially one that doesn't have the same kind of draw as it would in the US.

All issues which have been brought up by other posters.
