She is still an amazing mage who punishes movement cripples and balling teams alike and got an insane talent that allows her to snowball hard in team fights.

They even fucking argue Jaina got a better wave clear than Li-Ming. On a 15 sec cooldown. Costing 90 Mana. Which needs Cone of Cold to completely kill the wave.


On the other hand nobody even cares about Samuro being turned into a vegetable, Leoric not getting the promised buff, Zeratul getting buffed yet again, Zagara not getting any love and dmg kharazim getting nerfed the moment it finally becomes viable as an off support.

New Diablo is fun. Not having fire devil early feels kinda shitty, but he's definitely wayyy better all around. From the shadows at 16 is insane.

The imposing presence seems like it might be great but I haven't tried it. Imposing + the soul ability damage reduction means you can probably just yolo combo into a team of 5 people, misposition a squishy, pop imposing and take zero damage.

He also has tons more survivability and control. I think you can lock a single target down for something like 5 seconds straight at level 20 (apoc combo + blink).

Deep Breathing is great but not that useful against enemy cloakers. Now I can take a global reveal on a 25 second cooldown AND get 1.5 extra mana regen per second plus 5% ability power. You would be surprised how good Peer into the Future is against Samuro. It shows which is the real one and lets you follow him when ne Wind Walks. If nothing else it helps direct your team-mates who are not that bright.

Pic related, a full W build with Mobius Loop is crazy good on Shrines. You can clear 8 or so of the objective minions every 6 seconds with your W alone. Just make them all surround you then cast it centred on yourself. Great for capping objective fast while your team zones for you.

Why does it need to be that high anyway? Stitches hook makes sense, since you get to stay at safe range and can potentially fuck up enemy positioning, but charge type skills typically place you into a more dangerous positioning than before so a low cd baseline should be fine no?

The counterplay to the "longrange burst" hero in any moba is "dodge the skillshots", which is fine for counterplay, but there isn't ever any actual interaction with any of the heroes that have this design philosophy in literally any moba

If the counterplay is "dodge skillshots", your literal only option for offensive counterplay is to do it enough times to mana-starve them or to draft something that can close stupid amounts of distance in extremely small timeframes, and in Chromie's case, even that doesn't work because a-hyuk-hyuk enjoy your fucking stasis

Take every skeleton talent except for mana return and focus on putting pressure in two lanes. Scythe build seems strong until you realize Xul's primary function is not setting up solo kills, but assisting in team fights and pushing. Scythe is supper valuable at 20 with the mortal strike effect, but before that it doesn't offer much utility outside of the slow.

Mages give you a huge advantage for body blocking and laying out blanket slows, poison is only really useful if the enemy doesn't have a healer or they have high HP targets PAST level 20. I think you'll find that you die less in QM when you take makes over nova.

If the enemy Chromie is stupid enough to take Temporal Loop they deserve to lose. Slowing Sands is godly and the superior choice almost all of the time. People underestimate how good zone control is in HOTS, especially on maps like Infernal Shrines where you can choke people out of objectives. Nearly everyone takes cleanse, it's easy to disrupt Chromie's combo if she's close enough to Loop, and it's not even a guarantied kill.

In addition, using Polymorph to interrupt Sand Blast, of all things, is a horrific waste of that ability. You save that shit for channeled ults and diving enemy heroes, not to delay a skillshot that's on a 2.5 second cooldown. Furthermore, if you're close enough to polymorph Chromie then you're either (a) laning with her and thus just wasted your mana, (b) in a team fight and about to get your faerie dragon butt blasted by crowd control, or (c) her whole team is dead and you just wasted your only method of preventing Bye Bye. So no matter what the situation is you just fucked up.

Diablo is one of the first heroes they put in the game back when HotS was just a starcraft 2 mod, I guess they chose to use his original look to trigger the nostalgia from the diablo players.

Calamity will always be the best talent in that tier unless they just nerf it's damage.

Li-Ming is a burst hero who's best when people die so she can snowball across the enemy team.

There's rarely ever a situation where you actually want to take an extra 200 damage on a single target, or extra damage on a flimsy nuke over a huge chunk or reliable AOE damage.

Why do people give a shit about Calamity not hitting minions? Like, who gives a shit? You pick it to burst heroes. Her wave clear is good without it.
