Crimea is an independent entity and they aren't allied to the Ottomans, only Ottoman ally is Persia, and they seem to be focusing on conquering the Levant due to my strategic wars with Hungary.

The reason why there's the ugly kebab encroachment on Hungarian territory is because of Hungary's stupid early alliance with Albania and Venice occupying Albania while the Ottomans were still dealing with Hungarian troops. Austria wasn't involved and my military was weaker than Venice's military obviously, so instead of allying Albania and trying to fight a losing battle I conquered Brescia and Verona with Hungary after they signed the shitty peace deal.

EU4 is """difficult""" for different reasons than victoria, EU4 throws you into it and expects you to know everything, and gives you the impression that the things you don't know are crucial to the game when they're really not. The difference between the two is Victoria 2 gives you more choice as to what to do, you can set up a friendly/comfy colonial empire, build an industrial powerhouse to rival britains peak, or blob, whilst in EU4 the other things to do always involve blobbing. I'd say with Vicky, start 2-3 games, one as Portugal, one as Japan and unironically one as Prussia, they will give you the basics on whats to offer, but I'd also recommend the tutorial as well, don't go in blind, ever.
