it's a step up in difficulty from 9 because (in most cases) 9 is literally just standing around and spreading for like acid rains occasionally and then avoiding either scrapline or the other thing i can't remember the name of... where you hide behind the rocks

but it's not like super hard or anything. you can learn what to do very quickly, i'd recommend watching a video to understand what each of the bosses charges do, and from there it's just obvious shit like dodging the traps he presses and making sure YOU don't step on traps

Maybe on gilgamesh it's different, and I mean some people do use 4 star food on balmung, but the vast majority of food users aren't going to spring for HQ 4 star food, they'll use cheaper stuff - which you don't need to be a specialist to make.
