They overhauled rodeoing so that it takes 3-5 rodeos to kill a titan, and so that all titans have smoke. Makes rodeoing very hard to do and not so worth it.
I used to run the same loadout, slammer LMG and titan weapons.
If youre looking for an anti titan loadout in TF2, take arc grenades, and probably invis/ grapple/ speed so you can rodeo easily. If you grapple titans youll instant rodeo them, and if they pull smoke you can disengage and just do it again.
In some ways, the new system is nice because it means that all pilot loadouts are viable to kill titans, but in other ways it means that its harder to make a designated titan killer loadout.

Considering how much advertising went into the campaign, I wouldn't doubt it if many people expected the tutorial to be the campaign. Hell, I did. I wanted to try it out, but I can't and am stuck with the multiplayer which I've found to be unsatisfying except when I do a takedown move to another titan.

Ive been trying to swing around different anti titan weapons, but I haven't touched the grenadier ones. I think its personal preference, but I like the Thunderbolt since it has exceptional range. I agree about the mag launcher, the charge rifle is quite good though.

That could be just allot of new comers right now, not banking their money (I've been seeing people running around killing other people instead of banking when they've had 100s before on both sides, makes for EZ money) and people also not killing any grunts and AI, which Add up quickly and can turn a match, can have people on both sides pretty even on pilot kills, but when one dude kills ten grunts, and a dude on the other team kills 20 or more it adds up to be a landslide.

Part of the reason you can carry a bit, is because you can focus out on AI's while your team is dumbasses.

Yeah, in the "Find Match" menu there's an option for private matches.

Basically if none of your team knows how to handle titans, and 1 guy on the other team is titan hunter, your titans are never going to last long and the other team will just dominate you.
So in that respect a game with slightly unbalanced teams can be a total wash.
Overall I would say the best bet is to not worry about how your team is doing and what not, but to have fun. Theres a reason why Respawn decided not to show your KD, why they didnt have stats for a while, and why they do things like withholding certain patch notes. They dont want you to play the game just to be better than everyone else, they want you to have fun.
Also, as a side note, dont forget that killing NPCs is just as important as killing pilots/ titans. 4 NPC kills is a Pilot Kill, and things like reaper (the mini titans) kills are worth slightly more than pilots.

turn off the ingame settin that tries to stabalize the framerate. turn shadows down, and turn textures down to a setting you can handle. insane requies 8gb, very high can be run with 4gb vram. if youve got 2gb vram then medium is the best you can do without stuttering.

There was a developer interview early on before the release of 2 and they spoke about how plebs thought it was too hard to pick where people would come from because tf1 maps were made in such a way you could use any wall to get anywhere. They went on to say how they changed it for 2 and made it more lane based.
