Empire at war was pretty sweet. The mods that added all the big ships were kinda dumb, though. I played a campaign with those on and just used spawned fighters and bombers from one ship to REMOVE ENTIRE FLEETS and take almost no damage at all. Definitely not balanced.

It was kinda shit how the big cannon on the Aggressor Class ships damage didn't bleed over when they hit a single hardpoint.

I just got done playing New Vegas and watching the dollars trilogy back to back to back so now I have a burning question. Which class story is most like a space western, BH or Smug? I can't imagine it would be any of the other ones.

But that's just a numbers thing. If they just make t2 available at like 50 and t3 at 100 there wouldn't be an issue, as long as NiM is doable with t2.

Also, they need to make set armorings transferable to other pieces of gear.

It wasn't hard, it was just doing the same content in story mode until you get a full 216 set, followed by doing the same content in hard mode until you get a full 220 set, followed by doing the same content in nightmare until you get a full 224 set.

Once you figure out Operations Mechanics it's not hard, it's just a grind. What's hard is knowing the mechanics of every difficult fight, not just operations, which is why a focus on dailies and weeklies for Master level FP/Up/Op content is a better way to go.

So yeah it's a timesink. But getting maxed gear before everyone else will still require doing hard content.

I didn't get a chance to get that far because BioWare's own incompetence got my account hacked, then permanently banned, and I had to spend a month convincing them to give it back to me. And another few weeks to give me back all my characters and items they had deleted.

It's always unnerving to be in your stronghold and watching random player names float up and disappear, other people's companions placed as decorations phase through into your reality, or just chilling there for who knows how long and getting random whispers/mail from bots or people asking if you want to join a guild as if they can see you but you can't see them.

On my 65 madness sorc that was in lmao, he was quite fresh 208 gear and 220 main hand, force lightning lost about 600 damage. Then every dot, death field, lightning strike and force leech was nerfed. We didn't even get retardedly good passive like lethality operatives got.

Lightning is now literally bottom tier. Bant's numbers put it almost 1.2k dps behind the top.

Decided to give this game another shot after being away a few years. What's the most satisfying story and class for playing through everything up through the current expansion. Debating between Guardian, Sage, or Sith Warrior.

I've got a Trooper and Agent somewhere in the Hutt Cartel expansion, but it's time I see a force user story. Plus sounds like they make the most sense for the two latest expansions.

There are quite a few ways to do this.

Levelling through SoR on as many characters as possible. The new story rains credits.

I make a ton of credits just by scavenging and then selling them on the GTN for tons of credits.

Dailies, Selling Stims, Aug Kits and browsing the market for that guy who forgot to add a 0 or two to the price and resell it at full price.:)

My first week into this game I was scavenging as much metal as I could and selling it. When I had a little bit of money to my name, I took risks by buying stacks of low grade metal that someone else had listed at a far undercut price and reselling it for average. Just doing this a few times netted me like half a mil by the time I was on Nar Shadaa. You can also scavenge droids in flashpoints if you're willing to fall behind your team constantly and compete with other scavengers for the metals, but those will also net you quite a bit.

It's easy to make a mil at end game (60+) just doing half the weekly heroics (the easy/fast ones) and that's just solo. You've got a bit of an uphill battle if you plan on saving up 100m from hard work rather than cartel-to-credit selling.

It is a crapshoot buying cartel items. You may or may not get something awesome.

I have made almost a billion credits (Been playing since game came out) and I can tell you if you are lucky to get a specific mount or weapon you should do quite well.

But more often then not you will get something that is rather mediocre. The other problem is you are competing with people who literally spend thousands of dollars on cartel market items to get what they want. They then flood the market with the item that you want to sell for say 20 Million with things down at 3 million. Soon it drops even more. These people don't care because they are rich and they just want to clear out their inventory. (I know this because I have a few "whales" in my guild that admitted to this.)

So if you want to make a lot of money play a little bit of the GTN game but also do things like heroics, level alts and do the ones that are easy and quick to solo.

I haven't done it in a while, but I was sticking to Revenge packs because I got 30 of them for the same coin price as 24/26 packs and they sold for the same credit price. However, those and I think it was the Plunderer packs are now gone.

Your Jew hands are pretty spot on considering they keep lowering the amount of packs you get while increasing the fucking price. At the moment, there are only two packs to choose from so either one will do, but I'd recommend the newest pack since it's the cheapest.

Unfortunately, it seems that despite the hype, those particular packs aren't even popular at the moment. So even that's a risk right now and at a time when a lot of people are unhappy with the state of 5.0

So just be careful.
