Why does this line bug me...

Wat do with Felicia? She was fantastic for me in the first 10 or so chapters but her strength is just awful. More often than not I just use her for healing or attack something that can't counter to debuff it so actual units can do damage. She is level 16 or so with 7 strength, is it too late for her to git gud?

That's obvious. But the fact is that FE11 had actually managed to give Marth a character arc and personality beyond that of just a barely-speaking audience surrogate. What few changes that game did to the script were some of the best dialogue in the entire series, and it's part of why I loved that game so much. For FE12 to just throw all that away out of laziness and use it as an excuse to put MU so close to him infuriates me to a degree few could sypathize with.

>Xander and Camilla have a LOT of influence on reducing turncounts, monumentally more than pretty much any of the High tier units, justifying them being the only ones alongside Corrin and Azura in Top tier
>the Ninja duo are underrated (especially Saizo) and deserve at least the upper part of mid-High, they have much more staying power than Takumi, Oboro or Hayato do and do not deserve to be under them
>Shura>Ryoma can be a thing

11 is an okay game, just don't expect it to wow you at all. It's fine, but you can definitely skip it and move on to better games in the series. It has a nice soundtrack though, I'll give it that.

The last three units don't aggro unless you attract more than one of them onto one unit. So I just used Draug to attract the thieves to completely avoid having to hope Caeda has enough defenses to endure Katarina's onslaught.

It was my first FE so I hold it special to me. I say it's great BECAUSE it lacks shit like supports, rescue and other stuff. It's just you, the RNG and the gameplay.
The story is rather simple, but the dialogue is amazing.

It has its flaws, but it's still a solid game, do give it a go. FE12 is just better all over, delivering a much better story, polishing several flaws and adds a lot of things on the side.

I've been trying to stay as calm as possible here, dude. I'm not threatening or attacking anybody, and I'm not calling for FE14's head on a platter. I've just been trying to play through this game at as best a pace as I can, and trying to communicate what parts I don't like.

And I don't hate this game. I hate certain parts of it - especially those that ended up as omens for FE13 - that it drags it below technically inferior predecessor in my enjoyment, but the game is still good. I can't deny that.

And on that subject, I really love FE11's take on Victory(1)/Knight's Oath.
