There's a Forest 2-drop that has Enhance 6 : Transform enemy follower into a snowman.
A Sword card that has Clash : draw a card. Clash is a keyword that activates when a follower attacks or is attacked.

Also Bahamut is a neutral 13/13 for 10 that destroys everything else when played, but can only attack face if there is less than 2 followers on the opponent's side of the board.

People so conveniently having the exact right cards they need in T2. Fucking luckshitters.

That's super jank, but as long as you're still under C or B rank you'll be fine. Just play daily, get your quests and bonuses, play through the storymodes and beat every Elite A.I once (if not already done) for the cards and gold, and build up a collection.
Also always play in Ranked even if you're afraid of losing, losses do nothing but wins contribute towards Score rewards, aka more gold and packs.
Shit goes fast if you do it correctly yo.

Shadowverse is 80% luck, 20% decision making and 0% deck building (because basically everyone netdecks). While there aren't that many rng cards with huge swings, your draws are what matters most of the time. What you're playing is a competitive coinflip game.

Here's a general deckbuilding tip:
Every class has at least one very strong 4 cost follower with a very strong evolve effect. You always want 3 of these
For forest it's Elven Princess Mage, but she requires a deck built around her effect and it's expensive
The other forest one is Yuel, trust me this bae will carry you all the way to B-A ranks.

Another thing for forest is that their cards have 2 distinct archetypes
1) Hoard hand (Will of the forest, Canopies, Silver Bolt, Rose Queen...)
2) Flood board (Elf Metallurgist, Treants, Tam Lin, Tia...)
A good rule of thumb is to always keep 2 fairies in your hand so that you can proc any 'play 2 cards first' effects and still have somewhat of a hand to use your hoard cards.
Also make sure to actually have space to drop your fairies, don't clog it up.

Well, at least that one can be blamed on game being new. There's barely enough cards available to not netdeck. Even if you are making your own deck it's pretty much impossible to notice and separate from netdeck.
400/7 with 40 card decks just means you can play only a few archetypes per deck and they are usually quite obvious.
If you are halfway not retarded you'll come with the same generic decks as everyone else, you'll just have your own tech and a few deviations.

It's fine if a game, competitive or not, has an element of luck to it, but it's pretty retarded when some people pretend that there isn't one.

If a competitive game has an element of luck, you play it for multiple rounds in a competitive setting. This applies to poker, mahjong, hs and whatever. The more rounds you play, the more the luck evens out, and you see a difference between players of different skill level. But this doesn't change the fact that each individual match/round is mostly based on luck.

Blood is pretty good in Arena. A lot of the bigger followers and are almost Dragon-level in power. Good removal options too.

I agree he gets a lot of shit for free, but most classes have ways out of that, Forest can play a Ancient Elf ahead of curve, that will at least eat a DoD if Storm or be traded for an evolve by anything else, Sword can shit followers and Rune doesn't give a shit about board as long as he ins't dying. I'm not so sure how Dragon plays out because I haven't seen that many, but Blood should have 3 to 4 turns of free beat down. The only class that gets shafted hard almost every time is obviously Shadow.
It's pretty unfair to give someone one of the best possible scenarios and then cry OP (not going to disagree that Aria is overtuned tho) while other classes can also be oppressive as fuck given the same treatment.

I think you're overlooking the fact that it's also a vanilla 2 drop otherwise that can be used just fine like that. Obviously it's not going to be used on a 4/4 tiger just for tempo, because people usually don't play like mongoloids. It's going to be used on expensive, highly statted followers and things with Last Word effects. If they save it for turn 7-8 they can snowman something and bounce it back to hand as well. It's flexible and strong, and I hope other classes get good enhance cards to keep up.
