They're all useful in different ways, but you can fulfill almost every important role without them. If there are any "must buys" I'd say Valkyrie and Hibana for intel and powerful sightlines respectively. Echo is neat, but he's better as a compliment to Valk rather than a replacement for her, and he almost fills a similar niche as Smoke for discouraging rushes.

Frost is a lot of fun with the right mindset. Her traps feel pretty thoughtful since she can put them almost anywhere. Just a tip, she's a better point defender/beta roamer than she is a full on roamer. Keeping every spot where you put a mat down in mind and then quickly peeking to take out injured players works a lot better than running to the edge of the building or telling your teammates where the traps are. Also try to think like an attacker when placing your traps to think of where they wouldn't bother to look or where they'd have to focus on an angle instead of the ground.

But it is god-like because it has great RoF, great recoil, great ammo count. it's the whole package for Twitch, don't need anything else.

But for example, let's take Thatcher. The AR33 has higher RoF, and yet most good players prefer the L85. Why? Because the L85 has a larger magazine size, and better recoil.

So no, RoF is not all that matters in a gun

I still really like it. The most valid complaint I've heard is that there are too many objective rooms with windows looking into them. On the bright side, even though that is the case, attackers are always stuck being within 6 feet of the window since every major windows is connected to the outside walkways; it gives defenders the advantage against window peeks since they can sit further back from them.
If a castle buff is incoming it might change the way the map plays out though, and I'd be happy with that.

It's really subjective. Think like an Attacker. Where would you ADS and focus on potential Defender locations rather than the floor beneath you?
I personally put them around corners that lead to areas with lots of angles on where they'd have to walk, or under windows that are really hard to look down during a vault without being punished.
Experiment, and always remember that as long as you put them closer to the objective and around important chokes you've at least helped break focus and slow them down.
As for Kapkan traps, I like to put them in doorways where you can only shoot the trap as an attacker by exposing yourself to an angle or two.

It's not. There's 100% sound parity between player and spectator.

The only difference could be volume or quality of headphones. I have good headphones so sometimes I'll hear something a teammate didn't hear, but because he wasn't full sound-whoring it up (as you should in this game)

Also, for vertical sound, check the OP guide's video. The only map where this is known to be bugged is Skyscraper, but in the rest it's working as intended with the way holes and whatnot work in the game

Bullshit, siege sound is really poorly done. It's a step in the right direction as far as sound propagation in games, but it's too far the other way, sound barely goes through walls at all and it can be extremely difficult to pinpoint where a sound is coming from through a wall, much harder than in real life.

It's a cool concept but is let down by the limitations of being a game, you can't feel the vibrations of someone walking, you don't get the same directional effect as you do in real life.

Echo is a mashup of Valk and Smoke because while he only has one camera he can move it around freely, he can stop plants with it, make your opponents straight up less accurate in firefights, plus he has the shotgun + SMG combo so he brings the same utility/firepower combo that smoke does.

He's interesting to say the least, i'd never play him in soloqueue though.
