The thing is, forest can tech vs literally everything as its a jack of all trades that is also a master.
Healing, wards, good draw, board control with free evolves, cheap followers generation and buffs to continue pressure after board clears, powerful combo storms, spell damage to leaders, denial of x/1 hp followers with robin hood, free clears with Yuel. very high stat followers like master of canopy, good board and single target clears like WotF/May and bounces. They even have follower freeze via followers and amulets.

I stopped having fun the moment Blood control was solidified as unplayable a week into DE. This was the Haven expansion, but Blood players got nothing, but scraps. Only people playing Blood are the people who never touched the class before hand, and saw it as a budget mission/ladder deck. Honestly, I don't see myself playing this game more if Blood doesn't get more than 1 playable tier 2 aggro deck, and I'll definitely not be staying if they give Elf cards on the power level of Tia.

Control Blood has multiple 40% match ups, and it had more prior to DE. You people love commenting on classes you don't play I see. It's the worst class in the game, and barely gets any attention here, because no one actually plays it seriously. Everyone just plays it as budget aggro deck or for missions, just to play with Vampy for a bit, then they switch to their serious decks. Only Shadow gets attention here, even though it's infinitely better, and just came down from tier 1 this expansion. It's not even bad right now, it just has a bad match up against Haven, but you'll see endless whining here, because this is the Shadow mains general.

There really is nothing wrong with Path to Purgatory.
You should probably just ask yourself why is Altered Fate in the game? That's the card that screws things over. It has practically no purpose other than shadow generation and is disproportionally good at exactly that in Forestcraft in particular. A craft that has nothing to do with generating shadows otherwise. Aside from that Altered Fate is just a -1 that depletes your play points in the process. Which is just trash.

To be frank, a card like Altered Fate should either not be in the game at all, or at the very least suitably be a Shadowcraft exclusive card.

its a good class to go 5-0 buts it's also a good class to go 0-5 if you don't know what you're doing or get really shitty draws. my first 5-0 was with it but it was cause i had like 2 oracle 2 aielas and skydragon and then a fuckton of 5+ drops.
