the problem with pascale is that you either need enough board presence to have something good to double or enough pp to play something else on the same turn. since turn 5 is when you have to deal with beastcall and floral fencer you almost never have a chance to get a big double.

even when I managed turn 4 remi and rami turn 5 pascale that was "only" making a 10/2 that was guarunteed to die before I could attack with it. in the vast majority of situations where I could play golem protection or pascale golem protection was far more useful.

How do I draft a good T2 dragoncraft deck?
Why is dragon warrior seemingly extremely rare when it's a silver just like any other?
I feel like I've drafted about 10 dragoncraft decks at this point and had dragon warrior as an option once.
All the garbage amulets will clog up gold/legendary picks.
Trinity and noxious dragons will appear about 5 times per draft.

I feel like she's barely better than a win more card. if you have enough stuff for a good double you're probably winning anway, and if you're behind she's mostly useless. plus the fact that she doesn't double until you hit the end turn button means your opponent will always have a chance to deal with it.

the main problem with the deck is that it can't do anything the turn you play it. it has no storm followers so once you're out of evolve points your opponent gets to decide how to attack your golems, and unlike banner or elana you can't play your power up cards in advance.

Contract with Hades could potentially be too slow against the aggro decks of the format, the difference between 2pp removal and 3pp removal is extremely important right now against say, bats.

And you have to keep in mind that Resentment will always be 2pp. Contract becomes a 7pp spell that, meaning that it's much harder to fit other cards.

I'll be testing it in my Shadow Control, but Resentment fuels my Spirit Cycle right now so it's mostly a matter of seeing how useful it is in the meta. Right now Contract is great for hitting Ancient Elf but there's nothing else it hits that Resentment doesn't do a more efficient job against.

It does pretty well against all aggro because of strong removal and Death's Breath. Spartoi Soldier can stop people for a turn early too. It probably does pretty decent against midrange Elf and Royal too. Foul Tempest and Death's Breath have always been a problem for Royal, and you don't even have to use Necromancy for Foul Tempest to be good against fairies.

Midrange Royal is about even with DS, Tempo Elf, and PtP. Heal is probably one of its outright bad matchups though. Tempo Elf probably has the best matchup table overall, or at least it's similar to Midrange Royal's.

The most viable one is a DShift one, but it's really difficult to pull off. Since you need to bring your DShift down to at least 4pp.

The deck is terrible, but extremely satisfying when you pull it off.

I tried the Merlins before for easier drawing offate's hands + pseudo ward but she felt too weak to deal with any of the usual 4 drops.

I use Urd to either reset an evolved enemy minion or activate earthrite from the alchemists again.

I used to run 1 Olivia / 1 Gab before but am trying out something new for now. 1 of each of them was more consistent for me personally

I finally got bored and decided to make banner swordcraft and holy fuck this deck steals wins out of nowhere. I thought this deck was going to be about swarming the board with 1/1's and 1/2's and pumping them for value, but I've stolen so many wins just by playing 1-2 banners and then dropping a steady barrage of storm dudes onto the board and smacking face.
