Have you played the deck yet? Surviving against aggro is nearly impossible. I tried tons of variations today with taunts, doomsayers, removal of all kinds, even fucking 2x feral rage 2x moonglade portal. Hunter in particular is the worst since they're all these uncreative retards are playing right now and once they get to highmane you're fucked and just waiting around until they topdeck their other "yes I can put 2 of the same legendary in one deck" card.

both fandral and aya are quite good in the deck, it depends I suppose on whether you would also want to play more druid decks, or more lotus decks

fandral is an extremely strong druid card and very synergistic but aya definitely ramps your golems. i would get fandral personally, especially if you already have cards like cenarius and ancient of war - a fandral if left unchecked can be a win condition in and of himself

I'm having a ton of fun with reno priest. I love Raza, but the deck feels weak overall. Been trying dragon, N'zoth, and a combo of the two. Also been messing around with a shadowpriest variant with Velen.
Reno priest loses 100% of the time against jade decks unless they draw poorly. Druid especially, god damn, it's an auto concede.

I've played the cycle-y deck, with some variations, and also watched a friend play some. Aggro is a bad, almost terrible matchup, but not impossible (hunter is just hunter).

Any slow-ish deck without a god-draw opener just outright loses. Kazakus/Reno decks, other jade lotus classes, dragon decks, C'thun/N'zoth decks, mill in its entirety. Any new control deck is dead before it's made (white eyes shaman, handlock comeback, Han'Cho OTK/combo decks)

Thoughtsteal was usually not good for priests except in control vs control.

5 mana 5/6 wasn't usually good either for priests.

But somehow, 1/2 of a thoughtsteal with a 5-mana 5/6 is absolutely awesome.

Though, I wonder if it's only good because of the newer low-mana drops that priest got. Thay new 3-mana 3/4 and the priest 2-drop that spawns 2/2s when it's healed from a damaged state seem to give Dragon Priest a very solid early game base along with the Twilight Whelp, Wyrmrest Agent, and Blackwing Technician. Potion of madness was also pretty nifty to have when there were more than Jade druids on the ladder.

Wait until the meta settles down. If a deck you really like becomes prominent you can build it, and if not you can build the stuff you want to build now and experiment without losing any opportunities.

I feel real bad man, but also really good. I DE'd my Secrets, Reno, Lock & Load, and Yogg Hunter deck which I used to get to rank 5, the highest I've ever been, just so I could create a Reno Shadow Priest deck. Felt like I betrayed a friend just for some money, but Reno Priest is hilarious. I played five games and won each one. They were against a Renolock, a Freeze Mage, Aggro Paladin, that Auctioneer + Jade Idol Druid, and Face Hunter. They were really some of the most fun I've ever had.

So I'm recommending Reno Shadow Priest to everyone.

My version uses a lot of AOE spells (including Coldlight Seer), a lot of single target removals (including BGH, just so I have another way to deal with big threats), and a lot of resource generators (Kabal Courier, Kabal Chemist, Ysera, and Thoughtsteal). Main win condition is Elise, but so far, I've only had one game where I was able to pull out Monkey. The other four times I won before I could.

So my deck focuses heavily on making sure my opponent doesn't have a single minion on the board. It also focuses on making sure I don't run out of cards, ever, so that way I always have some sort of answer.
