So I'm having this weird issue with Vivid Weathers, on the original Skyrim. Setting the night darkness to either of the levels below default causes this strange saturation of the world lighting, without actually making it darker, whenver night comes around.
It isn't consistent though - sometimes the night is properly darker, and waiting enough hours for night to come around again usually fixes it temporarily.

Does anybody else have this happen? Is there a solution? I don't think it's a drivers issue, because this happens on two separate machines, and the darkness is sometimes correcty anyway.

I've just about given up on modding Skyrim. I used the TESG.com guide, followed every instruction I could find. Cleaned everything I could with TES5Edit, ran it through loot, Bash patched it, tried finding it in the Papyrus logs, Disabled Expanded towns and cities. I still cant figure out why it CTD's near towns/seemingly randomly, and freezes occasionally.

Remember, the larger the filesize and resolution, the better. 1080p and greater. Unless if someone wouldn't mind me doing an image stiching for a custom panorama too.
What were the Strawpoll results? Should also do postcards for Oblivion and Morrowind too. But we should have more scenery porn and ctires with towns. Need to remember one main background image for the city or town or ruin and more images for each letter of said place. Suggestions for fonts are also welcome. Even mini-posters.

Remember, no "Waifus" or "Husbandos" for now. Just have it in your mind it's first person, no UI on, and as though you're a tourist. Flora and fauna are fine. Including Draugr and such. Be sure to use SMIM and the best meshes and textures for the scenes! Especially food stalls.

Someone please help me with this issue. I have windows installed on my SSD and it includes .NET Framework. Mod Organizer is on my HDD not the SSD where windows is installed. It tells me that I dont have .netframework installed when I flick the problem tab on the top right. Is it not detecting it because it's on a different drive? Or what I dont understand.

Would it be possible to mod Oldrim or Newrim in a way that overwrites the killing mechanic? I'm not talking about killcams, but killing stuff. I'm thinking about the killing mechanic of Gothic/Gothic2. In those games, you hit your human/sentient enemies to bleedout every time and had to perform a deliberate move to actually kill them. This would help a lot with mods that rely on bleedout states.

I know a mod that messed with protected and essential status without changing their definition and it broke a lot if I remember correctly. I would have to teach all NPCs how to properly kill enemies if I want to avoid unending civil war battles or similar silly things.

Messing with the protected status is the only way I know. I was wondering if I'm able to go deeper in the game mechanics than merely changing who gets to be protected or not. Like changing what 'protected' means for the game and what it does in the game.

Currently, it's
nothing - instant kill
protected - bleedout until player hits; regens health to exit bleedout
essential - bleedout and death immunity

and turn it into something like
nothing - bleedout without health regen; needs healing or wait a timer; execute kills
protected - same as above but needs player to execute
protected - same as above but has death immunity

with one of the key point being that NPCs gain the AI logic to perform those executes for normal targets. In my current understanding, this would be a lot less messy than changing NPCs protected/essential status. I cannot know what other modders might do to anyone's protected status, so I'd try to avoid changing that.

Trying to mod Morrowind, going by http://pastebin.com/7gF2VLaf

Whenever I try to run mlox, it doesn't seem to recognize any of my, currently few, plugins. What could be causing this? When I manually select it to load the plugin list from Morrowind.ini, it only adds the extra bugged entry.
