I had a surgery to pull one of the fuckers out because no local anaesthetic worked, something about tangled up nerves in that area, and the fucker was so entrenched I literally had tears in my eyes after they tried to just brute force pull it out without anaesthesia for thirty minutes.

Rogue got shafted similar to paladin in the Old Gods, i.e.the majority of what she got is either garbage, or good in a deck that is bad.

The difference is, rogue lost two cards and still has a decent classic set, while paladin lost half the deck and has a shit classic set, which is why miracle still works as a deck.

The way I see it, Burgle Rogue seeks to win by simply outcarding the other class, that's how they win. They can be a lot more frivolous in how they use their cards since they usually have so many in hand thanks to Brann antics. For example, Shadowdancing my Brann into a turn 10 1 mana Brann into Nefarian is crazy good. The trouble is getting there, which is why it's a wise idea to run it Reno-style. This gives the cards you burgle much more value.

Playing Leeroy and then successfully stealing the 12/12 was his only out. Literally his only out. If he stole the 11/5 he can't kill the 12/12 with Leeroy and dies. If he steals a whelp he dies. Stealing the 12/12 and killing the 11/5 not only robs the druid of a game he had dead to rights, but also sets him up for lethal next turn which the Druid has no way of killing him on because his golems are dead and making more buys him no time. A fun story to tell his friends.
