yeah the first couple chapters are super mediocre. You just do no damage to enemies, all the enemies are small and boring, then you get to the meat of the story and you start fighting HUGE shit. It's tacky, QTE filled stuff, but it's still fun. There's a good fight a bout 2/3 through the story that is just SUPERFUCKINGSWEET. I feel like a dudebro typing that out but duder it's hella wicked epic.

Remember that fight where terra goes esper in FF6 then goes batshit crazsy and flies around everywhere? They transferred that emotion pretty well to 3D.

I just got out of a match with two of them doing it. It's annoying but predictable, and I never got hit by it. Just do a 360 and sprint out of there the moment they phase shift. I could see it being meta for a while because people are slow to adapt, but eventually everyone is going to start expecting it. I feel like it's not guaranteed kills unless they're cornered, in which case you didn't really need the phase shift.

Personally I use it defensively instead of a trap.

I mostly use it when other Titans are chasing me down, if they're being aggressive enough they will run right into it as I shoot my cluster middle at them, forcing them to stay in the damage at least a little longer.

Well in that situation, yeah you're pretty much fucked. Obviously you want to stay as far away as possible while still having cover. The tether + cluater is for slowing them down enough that you can get to cover or scare them off.

Try to place the cluster at their feet in front of them, if they're retarded they will run through it. Otherwise they will think twice about taking the damage. This should give you a couple of seconds to find cover.

At the end of the day, Northstar is squishy as hell and you if you get caught in the middle of a lane with no cover you're already dead.

Hold down the trigger and it aims itself. Not much reason to stop firing since you have infinite ammo for the duration. Whip around quickly every now and again to kill pilots trying to sneak past you.

Smart core is Overwatch's soldier 76 ult; it's an autoaim onto who ever your crosshair is closest too, the target you're aiming at will be red; negates spread. BEfore using it go into close range mode since ranged uses 2ammo per shot.
Wall of text incoming:As legion you just waddle your fat ass around in ranged mode pecking at pilots/infantry/titans at medium or long range; close range mode is only for titans that are under medium. Don't shoot Ion's shield, aim for big red glowing parts on enemy titans for more damage and spam the living fuck out of your power shot, close range powershot is a shotgun blast that can kill a doomed titan in a single shot and ranged blast is a slow projectile that explodes so be sure to lead; if you can't close the distance to melee a doomed titan a powershot is a guaranteed kill. You can use the ranged powershot like a shittier tone 40mm to hit pilots with the AoE inside buildings too.
Take the extra dodge since it's required and use ammo or extra power shot for titan specific kit, use the power shot if you enjoy burning enemy titans down before they know what hit them and ammo if you enjoy being a stupid piece of shit who never leaves ranged mode.

I wouldnt want an MMO but rather a multiplayer mode where you have an interactive lobby you can deck out and news on whats up in the Core Worlds and Frontier.

If they took the concept of the hub from Infinite Warfare and added more stuff for small groups of friends to deck out this space for themselves (Have some preset themes and then some basic decorating mechanics, themes being like Frontier, Corporate, Luxury, Dishonored2Mansion, etc), then they'd have a bonafide 10 year title (eat your heart out Destiny) what with how it would basically make even the downtime between matches feel meaningful.

At the start of the time I've been playing TF2 I was thinking that the ability-locked pilot skins were unnecessary, but I've since taken a liking to it after getting used to it. Kills are too fast for appearance to even really matter. You MIGHT notice they're a robot if you get up close, but by then one of you will soon be dead anyways. I'd agree for cloak but they nerfed it anyways.

Yeah but for every three kills on cloakers you get by flanking around and hitting the perch they all grouped up on from behind, there's at least one moment where you're just running around the map going fast and get onehit by some scumbag with AWALL and DMR from half the map away.

I would rather have something like Chromehounds/Armored Core VD in that there is a "space map" that players fight over for the different factions. If a faction is knocked off the board those players bound to it can only do merc work for the other factions until the map resets. Flank 24/7. Delay sword core as long as you can. Kill as many pilots as possible. Only pick fights vs. damaged titans or if you have 3 dashes and phase shift ready.

You can make fights vs. full health titans work, but in its current state, I'd really not recommend it unless you're playing shitters.

Ronin works best if he drops 1st before any other titan comes in and proceeds to farm the shit out of pilots because he has such an easy time catching up to them.
