Why do I love Widowmaker so much? It's pretty simple when I think about it. As she grapples through the objectives, the men swoon at her very scent. They know how she smells, the essence of her smell is sold in the blizzard store under the the name of "Blueberry pie scent". The very nature of Widowmaker is mystery. could she be playing a deeper game than even her creator realizes? The answer is yes, she has transcended such boundaries as the written world, and has free will to do whatever she sees fit. However, Widowmaker is filled with such guile, such french smugness that she does not even use these powers. Why, you might ask? You will never know, for the mind of the Widowmaker is not one that is easily penetrated. Widowmaker is such a force of nature in her realm that nothing can truly touch her, the only thing keeping her bound to the game at all is her will to exist within the preordained boundaries of her world. Widowmaker is not only beyond the comprehension of us, she exists within a plane of true focus and beauty. Observe her smug smile, her gorgeous and rippling ass, her cute nose, and most importantly, her eyes. Her eyes, like pools of saffron, provide the only glimpse into the true machinations of Widowmaker. Do not stare into them. Many good men have gone mad in the attempt. Widowmaker is not just a character, a formless collection of words and images, she is herself is the binding that holds the saga together. Without Widowmaker, the entire game, the entirety of Blizzard as we know it crumbles. The temple of anubis would freeze without Widowmaker, Eichenwalde would become a desolate crater, Ecopoint: Antarctica would melt without her frosty gaze. These are just of a few of the reasons why I like Widowmaker so much.

This happens when I play with friends. Part of being a good Widow is having a good group to keep harassers off of you, maybe your team was breddy good at their jobs.

D.Va is better when played reactive instead of proactive. Stick with your team and shut down threats by boosting for knockback or blocking them with D.Matrix or by killing them (like Winston or Reinhardt). You can also squash most isolated DPS.

This is why she doesn't work as well as a solo tank but synergizes extremely well with other tanks.

Player her like a tanky flanker. Take advantage of that high mobility. Always remember that your boosters deal damage and cause knockback.

Defense matrix nullifies Pharah's ult, 76's ult, Reaper's ult, McCree's ult, and the vast majority of primary weapon fire. If you can protect teammates while you're protecting yourself, do so.

You can 1v1 almost everyone in the game if you play smartly and defense matrix efficiently. Avoid enemies with healer backup; your DPS is too low.

If you have a Reinhardt stick behind him, spam M1, and use defense matrix when his shield is down. If your team is together and you spot a lone squishy or uncontested point, boost for it and go to town. The opposing team ignores you at their own peril, and if they shift their focus to you use defense matrix and let the rest of your team shoot them in the back.

You can self-destruct in response to losing your mech if your ult is ready. If you don't, you'll be stuck at 0% charge and unable to summon another one until you fill the gauge on foot.

D.Va's light gun is deceptively powerful, and its slow projectile speed can be a boon against enemies popping in and out of cover. Headshots build gauge faster.

I honestly don't know where you're getting that Torbjorn is worse than ever.
He's not super strong but he's actually pretty good. I don't think it's possible for him to be played at the very very top of play due to his large head hitbox, his lack of mobility and his projectile weapon.
But everything below that I can do some insanely impressive stuff with Torbjorn.

Treat him like a slightly harder skill curve McCree with no immediate reload after FtH and armor packs and a ult that actually matters.

Sombra is actually very weak against Torbjorn, because she does next to nothing in damage against armor.

ie. Reinhardt is 8m away from somebody and wants to hammer them, switch to speed just enough to get him in 5m range then back to healing.

This means as a Lucio player you need to try to constantly be cognizant of what's going on for everybody, and be ready to toggle between speed and healing a lot.

I get this too.

Some of the hero movements are so erratic and jittery it is actually really fucking hard to consistently land shots as widow or hanzo, and with them being snipers they attract the biggest shitcunts, hence their stigma.
