I wonder if Sekai will remove the mosaics for any of their bigger titles. Chrono Clock artwork was "lost" despite also being from Purplesoft, but they removed the mosaics from Ne No Kami, and I have to think mosaic-free art would do better on the Nutaku storefront that they are working with.

Pros: they tried to modernize the story and characters, most of the ero scenes are good, there some really good comedic and sweet moments
Cons: it feels like the game jumps from one easily resolved drama to another one, has some wonky art, some characters can be really annoying, game is 12 hours max, andtwins weren't raised together and only started living together as sisters as teens.

Is it really a bad thing if characters act as mouthpieces? I felt that most of the characters were mouthpieces in The Brothers Karamazov, granted they all had some characterization but their beliefs each reflected a typical mindset, yet it ended up working really well. I also don't think it's a bad thing for an author to try to use his work to deliver a message that he is passionate about, so all of moogy's criticisms seem to just make me more interested in it.

I just finished Sansha Mendan and I can honestly say it is not as good as Quof makes it out to be. Aina's post-break scenes were the hottest thing from the entire game, simply due to how much of a resistance she put up at the beginning. It is good for a couple of faps to be honest, maybe Quof's score is biased due to the fact that he has played the harem scenes of the game (I don't know how to unlock these), but overall I would give it a 7/10. From the first second on I knew it was gonna be great. If only explosions and epic fights excite you then sure, this will go over your head. But few writers out there can make something simple so, so emotionally evoking.
Also yes the first chapter while good is more enjoyable on a reread. SubaHibi doesn't start until RH2.

It is usable on the PC version. Make sure to use the download from the guy in the comments on nyaa though. Also if you download the girlcelly version of the Japanese game you need to rename the folder or else it won't start because it has too many characters. The menus aren't translated however.

I'm not sure why you think those two are apart, the score is an average of those "any one individuals". Also people can give scores without reviewing it. Or to state the initial reply differently: 79 is not a bad score on the website EGS. For example, Itsusora is a 78. Asairo is "only" a 80. Mareni VNs are in that range etc. all extremely highly regarded titles. The only ones you have to be careful of are 70 and lower.

Nasu is most famous for his wordbuilding. Second after that is his characters, and third is his prose. Rather than his prose being "good" it is unique and can be pleasant to read, which makes the entire experience more enjoyable. He isn't like some of the other writers people guzzle the cum of because his stories have some value other than the prose, whereas somebody like Romeo makes a lot of trash that is easy to see as bad when you're an EOP, because you don't experience his "masterful writing" and his stories rarely have a plot or characters to back them up.
Takajun certainly did butcher Nasu's prose, but it's not like his writing is prevalent in the other popular parts of Fate (such as the anime). Nasu's works are popular because of many reasons, not just a single one.

A little secret is that a lot of my raving about Sansha Mendan came right after I finished Aina and Yuunas's route, but not the others. That said, it's a porno nukige, you know? How strong your fetishes are, and what your fetishes are, will end up being a huge impact on your enjoyment. I guess you could say the same thing for anything (Some people don't like Dies Irae or Muramasa, even!) but it's especially true for porno. Sansha Mendan suits my fetishes perfectly, so I love it a ton and my opinion is far higher than someone who doesn't have my exact fetishes or doesn't have as strong of fetishes etc.
By the way, Yuuna/Aina harem scenes are EXCELLENT, I highly recommend them. To get them, break Yuuna (落とす) and then get Aina to the point just before she breaks. Then you'll have an option to do them both at once. Yeah, you gotta do Yuuna first or it's impossible. I believe it's Marika before her mother for their scenes but I don't 100% remember.

You have to get a popular youtuber to shill for it. The reason Nekopara got so popular was because people were shilling for it on youtube, doing those ironic 'let's plays'. Imagine if one of those big youtubers ended up showing something actually good like Fata Morgana. Literally all Mangagamer has to do is ask one of those youtubers like Markiplier to play through it (not the whole thing, just at least through the first door or something), and people will get interested to check out the VN for themselves. Once people see that the medium actually has potential, they will be able to get into it.
