They aren't that inferior. I can consistently get at least 3-2 with pretty much every class and generally go 4-1, if not 5-0. And I avoid Sword, Shadow, and Dragon as much as possible because I don't like playing them.
Sword, Shadow, and Dragon are just the easiest classes to draft, since they're very midrange with few twists on the formula, so they're the most popular. Sword is definitely also the best class, but a lot of people think Forest is also very strong post-DE, and I would agree. I also think Shadow is heavily overrated.

Elana is a 3 mana do nothing that, without heal cards, takes up a spot and does nothing else. The pure Elana deck isn't even that good since if you run enough removal or have a combo win condition their whole gameplan is shot.

I wasn't even talking about synergies, though obviously you shoot for them when you can. I was talking archetypes and playstyles.
For example, a common misconception is you need earth rite synergy for Rune to be any good. Completely untrue! With Rune, you can draft very good control decks even without strong earth rite synergy, which is a deck archetype you usually don't draft in take-two, especially if you just stick with the 3 easy midrange classes. Drafting control is far different than drafting midrange, so if you take your drafting experience with, say, Sword into Rune you will crash and burn. You have to approach drafting Rune way differently than Sword, Shadow, or Dragon. People think you need earth rite because earth rite is the easy way to draft Rune, but it's far from the only way.

If people were shitting on Elana/Seraph, which, let's be real here, everyone whining about Elana is far below the ranks where that starts to appear, then they would whine about the deck itself. But they always specifically talk about how Elana is broken and don't mention the Seraph at all, which is what really drives the deck into the higher win percentages since it turns its god-awful control match-ups into favorable ones instead.
So even if they were playing against Elana/Seraph, placing the blame on the Elana portion just shows they're shitters. The card Elana and its synergy are fine, even though it can get pretty ridiculous if they get the Elana train rolling. It's just people whining when they lose, like always. The major problem with Haven is Aria, as anyone with a functioning brain can recognize.

You simply have to compare aria with beastly vow to see that it's relatively fine, especially compared to elana that boosts your followers to absurd levels while healing yourself for more than the opponent could possibly damage you. Oh and don't forget all the fresh cards you get during this nonsense. Opponent removed your elana? No worries, amulet removal is expensive and you can stall for many turns. Just throw in a nice backup wincon legendary to spice it up.

Another card that is blatantly OP is garuda.

Aria is completely broken to absurd degrees. it is a 3x of in every single Haven deck, even pure Seraph that's a fucking control deck, solely because of how insanely powerful it is. It is a top pick in take-two. The stat value you get and the tempo swing you get from it is so absurd to the point where sometimes it's completely insurmountable, especially if it pops turn 4 and they also have a Cudgel ready. If you don't understand why Aria is broken then, well, you really don't understand much about card games. Out of all the stupid, idiotic things I've heard from this general about the balance of certain cards, this may just be the dumbest one.

Yes, Elana/Seraph is powerful (though it has a sub-50% winrate in Master). But my argument is that Elana, the card itself, is fine. My evidence is that on its own, without the Seraph, the Elana deck does not perform very well. Thus, the card Elana is okay, and it is rather the combination of multiple Haven cards that push the hybrid deck over the top.
My argument is directed at people in this thread who often talk about how Elana, once again THE CARD, NOT THE HYBRID, is bullshit/overpowered/whatever.
