It does not have any effect on the +stat from your hyper stats however

Cons include no need at all to invest money on it, since you can get hyper teleport rocks, pendant and character slots, cubes and other stuff from the CS for mesos. You can't trade so you wont be merching, farming mesos is essential for progression, but few hours a day should get you far enough to do hmag and CRA with parties, i suggest joining a normie guild for interactions, commerci, training and bosses are better done in parties. (most normie guilds have discords too which makes it more comfy)

cons, no scrolling so less dmg overall, farming can be boring for some people, perma nx is always on sale on the CS but the rotation usually just has ugly stuff, unless you want to invest on 25k nx boxes that have random stuff inside, or nonperma nx (events give nice perma nx as well so you can just wait )
also no trading, so you have to gear every piece of gear by yourself, cant easily buy from other players

If it's like every other skill with min and max crit that got changed, it's 20% crit damage.

Aries is the only up-to-date server right now that's playable in any capacity. It's no Ellinia-level of quality but it's all we've got at the moment. A lot of people are just twiddling their thumbs or playing reboot waiting for the next big thing. I think pservers will definitely take a temporary hit when 5th job comes out because it will be a while before they can get everything fully working probably.

GMS never had the backend to support the auction house fully, it simply wasn't implemented to its full functionality to the point where you can put it in a private server without hacky implementation. Getting mesos in non-reboot isn't that bad, superior item crystals tradeable honor medals from dojo, elite boss drops, sweetwater glasses/tattoos and cube crafting materials from commerci etc all sell for a good amount, and can be farmed consistently, though to make tons of money through dojo/commerci requires you to make a bunch of lv141+ mules with not-completely-shit gear

I've leveled on reboot a few times, but I usually lose interest pretty quick. I have a few reboot characters at level ~180. I just really miss gambling with scrolls, since that's what I had a ton of fun with when I played 8+ years ago.

I don't really mind not doing amazing damage, I just want to be able to do things without needing crazy gear or NX investment.
