So, in preparation for the next season I am thinking about creating a new account and becoming a One Trick Pony.
I know it's too early to ask about which champion will be good to main and etc, but I wanted to hear from you guys experience so far.
I am thinking about playing Top mainly with Jungle as secondary role, so I would need a Champion that can fit both lanes. Also, something that can carry the game really hard.
What do you guys suggest? Am I good playing Top/Jungle?

And no, Void Swarm and Summon Voidling are not even remotely similar. Old Malzahar's passive required thought and skill to be used properly. It gave him windows of power to play around, and to a shitty Malzahar it was worthless, and to a skilled Malzahar it was his strongest ability until level 6.
His new meme W is exactly that. A meme. You either faceroll and delete shit with it because they can't kill the voidlings quick enough, or it's useless because they can kill the voidlings.
Changing it to a charge based system that only summons one voidling was a good idea, but they paired it with making the voidling's AI intentionally worse and removing all means of controlling the voidling, even indirectly. You just press W and hope he attacks the champion instead of some random minion. Now the only reason to use it is to block skillshots because there's no reliable way to make it deal damage, but the entirety of Malzahar's damage output is still in the worthless voidlings, and his only utility is an AoE silence and a 2.5s suppression that gets him killed if he casts it on anyone but the tank.

My only problem with the Taric rework was they made his ult way to influential, and so they have to keep the rest of his kit nerfed to compensate. Also, I wish they just made it so his Q had a debuff like summoner Heal for itself, so that spamming it would be less powerful, but Riot could make it actually useful in lane.
