The mission requirement was 30000 cryotic, I checked and couldn't extract after doing one extractor and the kuva. It was actually 30k.

Smite is useful for nuking low level stuff but the damage distribution of impact/rad really hurts. His kit is really cool theoretically, but basically reeks of "designed by someone who doesn't play their own game" because of how lackluster they perform in practice. Shame too, because with a bit of tweaking, his skills/augs would be mad useful and unique.

YMMV but I get way more mileage out of him at post-DEAC by going full range/duration and dumping str. Forced radproc and blind combined with huge proc immunity/no knockdown zones makes him an okay control frame vs infested. Still gets shredded by enemies with guns though. Dropping overextended for more power str and ragecycling makes you more versatile with nuking before his damage drops off though

The multishot one. You can either be doing 100% more damage on 50% of your arrows, the ones that crit, (plus extra electricity) or be doing 100% more damage for 99.6% of your trigger pulls.

Crit damage one is like 25k DPS vs the multishot one being 40k+ dps

This doesn't factor in the inceased flight speed or elemental damage, if the flight speed helps the usability like it should you might just have an easier to use gun with better value. Just giving you the numbers. Multishot is king 99% of the time.

I think you mean 1.617, but the math is still off.
You can't consider a mod in a vacuum.
You'd obviously have serration on as well. Meaning the damage multiplier isn't (1 + 1.617), it's (1 + 1.65 + 1.617) / (1 + 1.65) = 1.61 or a 61% increase.
With the 82.4% heat, it depends on what other elementals you're using, but if you're using a single 90% along with this mod, then it's a 43% increase.
So against, non-grineer, assuming you're using serration, 1x90% ele, and no other base damage/elemental mods, then it's a 2.3x multiplier.
The only time it's what you calculated is if you literally dont have serration or an elemental on.

Man FUCK Riven mods and increasing reroll prices

They claim they want you to "experiment with the stats you have instead of chasing the perfect roll," but 1. most underpowered guns have no polarities and need grind anyways and 2. +magazine size and +zoom isn't going to do shit for the Grinlok's endgame viability. So you keep rerolling till you get to the point where you have to keep your mediocre mod over the +punch through -dmg against infested and grind 4 fucking kuva siphons just to be disappointed again.
