Hi guys, I'm not new to OPTC played for over a year but I am new to this thread. Is it worth it to do the forests of training? I did Mihawk one but it was really difficult and took me a long time even with a guide I don't land perfects every time :( so that didn't help. Coffin ship was definitely worth it but are the other boats as helpful, I play global. Thank you.

Anyways, in general, all the boats from the forests are useful in one way or another. One of the absolute necessities is Ace's Boat.

Whitebeard is rather challenging, but works well with a f2p slasher team

You can, with the right units, get Baccarat to run advanced stuff like CC restaurant and turtle time, but the amount of time you'd spend on a double Baccarat run isn't worth it since you could probably clear it two/three times using normal captains. If she guarenteed doubles of the best thing that dropped, then maybe, but the time investment isn't worth it.

That being said, her fortnight is totally worth it if you have Diamante or Gladius, and the drop rate on their books has been pretty stellar.

I just can't, for whatever reason, bring myself to do it. Especially now that I'm 4/5 on new sockets and I got like 40 copies today.

Is there any point in farming Magellan if I already have Hack for a STR/powerhouse HP cutter?

I know the Magellan/Sandersona combo provides quite a bit of damage but even though I have Lucci I'm not sure I'd ever use it.

Once you get to farming doffy though, save two copies for your first and second doflamingos. (One should have Bind/Despair and another with AH/Any socket of your choice, preferably one with bind or CD.) You only need two, because there's never enough time to go around and farm a third doffy when you'd already be set to farm boa and sabo.

Remember, your raid bosses don't have to be max level, but they should have max special CD. Sockets should reach max before CD as well.

I appreciate the advice, but I'm actually on Day 650. I got my Mihawk back before sockets were a glint in Bamco's eye, and I had previously socketed him for Bind, but after having made multiple teams that wound up with 25-30 Bind, I realized it was probably in my best interest to re-socket. 4/5 will get me where I need to go until Mihawk comes back, it's mostly just frustrating from the completionist standpoint.

If anything, Log Luffy should've just been an event/secret character with normal event/secret ststs and abilities. Why not GEAR 4TH or RED HAWK Luffy? Bamco doesn't do well with forward thinking, so we might end up with another legend luffy. Hell, we could have a coloseum lucy if they play their cards right.
Then there's >corazon who basically just doesn't do anything useful other than grab the Op-Op fruit and shove that down Law's throat. If I were to switch corazon's and boa's captain abilities (which totally works because boa looks like she gives sexual healing :^)) then I would.

As for buffing, all characters have their strengths, except for boa, who needs to NOT have her weakness of having her captain ability nullified below 70%. Marco plays on that better than boa, and marco's special is fucking broken so he doesn't need it as much as boa does. Like I said before, boa should replace corazon.

Barto and Cabbage getting legends is mostly about Bamco showering Dressrosa with love, but I'd argue they deserve it since they're the effective leaders of the Straw Hat Alliance.

Not to mention Barto got in way earlier than Cabbage/a lot of other characters because of popularity.

Boa is the only right answer. Really, all the other legend are good. Boa is just badly designed and rarely useful (I have her, and even the "she is a good subs" is false, you almost never have to use her).

Depend on what you mean by "deserve". In term of power and reputation, Law, Marco, Barto, Cavendish, Corazon, Luffy, Ace and maybe Sabo don't deserve it. (Luffy get a free pass for being the MC though). None of them have enough power and/or reputation to be put next to a Whitebeard or a Rayleigh.

Remember that Legend are almost never choose randomly. You guys seems to think that cabbage and barto are here because of "muh popularity", but it's not that simple. Every legend so far either is a very important character (Shichibukai/Yonko), or come with a specific batch of character.

Marco is a legend because WB already existed back then and he was introduced in a WB pirate batch. Who else than Marco would you put as a legend in WB pirate batch?

Cavendish/Barto were both part of the coliseum fighter batch. Both of them makes sense in that context; The other options being Rebecca (kek), Kyros and maybe Bellamy (Why the fuck was he not part of this patch btw?)

Sabo is the revolutionary batch legend. He actually doesn't deserve it at all, Dragon should be the legend here, but I guess Bamco decided that they don't have enough information on him to create a character.

Then we're left with : yonko (Big mom and Kaido will certainly be there soon), Sengoku, Rayleigh, Shichibukai and the main antagonist of some important part of OP. Luffy is the MC and sw Ace is probably here just because he is popular.

I think Marco is fine. He's probably the strongest non Yonkou/Admiral/Rayleigh in the series until Luffy needs to surpass him for the plot.

Also keep in mind that if we're going by power, Lucci definitely doesn't deserve a legend because he would get wrecked in the new world. He wouldn't even beat a pacifista one on one, whereas any other legend could except for probably Corazon.

I don't see much reason to assume Lucci has become new-world tier. For one he spends so much time undercover he probably doesn't actually get much chance to train, and two the guy is in his 30s - he has probably already plateaued. If he were going to learn haki he'd have done it by now.

I mean Lucci is probably nearly twice Luffy's age. If he were going to become new world tier he'd have done it by now. He's an assassin and undercover agent; he doesn't really need to be a top tier fighter and I doubt he has progressed much if at all since the time skip.

My point is that Lucci is by far the weakest legend we've got canonically, except for perhaps Corazon but we don't really know how strong he was. Crocodile is also a shitter to be honest.

If you've seen One Piece: Film Gold then You'd know that Lucci fought Sabo, although it was offscreen he'd literally not be able to touch Sabo without Haki due to muh Mera Mera fruit so he's definitely developed since the timeskip.

I've got +100 rcv raid enel, +100 rcv vivi for noobs to use as zombie captain.

In vague order of usefulness:
Corazon it just multiplies his heal to insane levels.
3d2y Sanji it adds 200 healing a turn, up to 600.
Qck Marco it adds 10,000 to his ult, but really you may as well just use Psy Marco if you have that much health.
Intvankov it doesn't make a huge difference on, but 2600 health can't hurt.
Wapol it adds 1000 healing a turn but don't use it on wapol.

Qck Boa it adds 1500 healing, which is nice but her special is still rubbish.
SW Chopper it adds 1500 healing but don't use it on him if you have Intvankov.
Story Khalifa it adds 600 a turn over three turns, 1800 is pretty nice.

I'm nearly 300 @ 500+ days and still don't have Law or Thatch but 3 PSY Marco's. RNG is a fickle bitch.

I originally used DEX Kaku and then switched to Kyrie when I pulled him for Law's spot when I was farming Enel. Actually didn't have too much trouble but Kyros was much more useful than DEX Kaku.

Enel is easy enough once you have maxed Mihawk and Doffy, just tedious with the timing bullshit.

Why are you under the impression that you can't utilize multiple orb boosters? Forests and colos require multiple rounds of burst in quick succession, which a single unit's cooldown would not permit. Being able to boost on say, wave 14 of a forest and then being able to do it again on wave 16 is extremely useful.

Furthermore, using two units to heal + boost instead of one might prevent you from taking, say, a damage reducer. If a team needs a heal, an orb boost, an attack boost, a delayer, and a damage reducer in order to beat a given encounter, you can't fit all that across four subs unless one of them can serve two of those purposes.

QCK Marco is definitely not interchangeable with SW Franky + PSY Marco.
