That's how I did it anyway. IIRC for assault you even get bonus class XP for capping flags, as that's one of the main things you're class is supposed to do, or so I've read somewhere. Same would be true for (flare)spotting as a scout and heals and resupplies for medics and support respectively..

I just have to do Support now, and it sucks.. The LMGs suck, the gadgets kind of suck, especially since mortars got nerfed.. The only upside is collapsing entire buildings with limpet charges for giggles and debris kills.

Also Hellriegel a shit compared to the A-10 Hunter. Literally everything is. Grinding support, even using BAR, it takes every inch of dedication I have not to just go assault with shotty.

The things thats always confused me about vehicle autists is that they think they're somehow special.

Any skilled infantry player could jump in a tank themselves and replicate the exact same scores, or most likely, get even greater scores because there's literally nothing skillful at all about tank driving in modern BF games. If you have the aim and general game sense to be a good infantry player then you'll kill everything in a tank as well

The only difference between the two groups is one group has autism to sit on a spawn screen for several minutes at a time, the autism to care about a meaningless video game statistic so much they'll go through extremely boring and monotonous shit like spending minutes backing up to their spawn to self repair, and they don't care about winning

The vast majority of people want to win games and find doing literally the same shit over and over to be boring and in general feel scummy exploiting things that are clearly overpowered so they don't whore vehicles and main infantry and have fun.

And it does look fast because when that was recorded I was high on caffeine and energy drinks (lol) and flicking about like a madman. Usually my aim is a bit more tame, or rather my reflexes and flicks aren't pixel perfect like these webms.
My accuracy is always at around 18-20%, which is fairly low.

Well everyone is comfortable with whatever they chose, I still prefer to do wrist mostly and arm just for big flicks. It takes me about half my mousepad to do a 360, because I'm not comfortable with having to lift twice or so since I assume I'm going to be at the center of the mousepad when needing to do a 360 if possible, I do very well and have great success both on infantry and tanks, so I see no reason to go off my comfort zone.

For the record in Quake I can reach upwards of 70% accuracy in FFA Instagib when playing vs bots and about 30-40% when playing vs humans.

Scouts should also have massively increased spot bonuses to incentivize actual scouting rather than just sniping. In any case support really falls apart as soon as your squad/team spread themselves thin. If you're supporting a push or have a suppressive weapon set up covering a chokepoint you're set.

Is the mortar a lost cause? I wanna kill people with it but even when I land a direct shot it doesn't seem to 1 hit kill. I landed one on the fucking crown of a horseback rider's head and he ate the damage. Best I've done with it is disable already damaged vehicles.

It's counter productive. Unless you are mortaring retarded hill niggers that are bound to be in the same spot 8 seconds later, you're gonna have a bad time.

I say this as a guy that exclusively uses the HE mortar outside of argonne, It really bums me out that I finally get in a good position to use the mortar, but by the time I gain that first shot accuracy, the tank is either long gone out of range, the spot on it has expired, leading me to blind fire all my shots, or I get shot in the back for being still for so long.

I want to see the HE buffed in damage against vehicles, or have the the initial accuracy decay faster so you can reliably hit moving targets in time.

It just feels irrelevant right now. I'd rather run Limpet.
