Geez, I think this event is going to give me enough Mogs to get his shit TMR.

Right now Lightning is one of my best characters and the only one at 99, along with all of her SSBs and BSBs. Should I try for the OSB she's going to get or should I just go for a OSB that's less mediocre? Keep in mind I also have Ashe's BSB and Crushing Blows so I'm not very desperate for lightning stuff

Lightning's OSB isn't really mediocre, it's got an element and is only a TINY bit weaker than the average OSB on the first cast. It's pretty average (better than lame ones like Vaan's), which is a good thing.
It's actually not a bad banner, Vanille's BSB is fucking great, Noel's SSB is awesome, and you have two shots at further increasing your Lightning's ATK by 10 with her SSB2 and OSB.

It's not a terrible idea, but just consider what else you'll want to spend that mythril on.

Rain is better than Faris 2bdesu, aside from not being waifu material.

She's actually the second worst of our current full breakers behind Ingus.
Vaan is worse than her in attack power (barely), but makes up for it in being the second tankiest motherfucker in the 5* max pool by a slim margin.
At 6* he becomes edgar, and is one of the bulkiest units out there without being a dedicated tank. She's a straight downgrade.

WoL is the only thing tankier than him, and Agrias isn't too far behind the other two. At 6* they become absolute fuckers you'd run in any A-team.

Dingus is dingus, and the upcoming Sazh is garbage too, so at least she's better than them.

No, Vaan is her but better.

She doesn't do much attack (bladeblitz is shit), so having a little more isn't helping her.
Vaan's bulk and ability to wield the +15% HP hammer makes him more useful.
And MAG is even sillier on her even with Firaga.

She's one of the only available V candidates for 6* at this point, though, and she's popular in nippon. So I'd pull just to expect a 6* soon.

EVERY pull on the generic banner has about a 1% chance of being any 3* unit, while the guaranteed 4* in an 11x pull only has about a 2.8% chance of being a specific 4* at this point in JP.

Pretty good, the torrent of quality of life stuff they are bringing in seems to be on point. You can shop while driving and I like the assortment of collectables they have lined up.

Plus I am intrigued with how they will expand things further in those episodes in the coming weeks. That Christmas special in Altissia might be an excellent addition depending on what they have planned. I am amazed that for all we've seen and the leaks, there is still so much to see. I can't say I envy the holiday schedule these people will have. Hopefully Tabata has Christmas bonuses lined up, because it's 60 hour work weeks ahoy for the next two months.

The main idea of TMR grinding in every forum and community you go to about this game, is to make a party of at least 3-5 of the same unit, and do a run each time. You would get 10% chance per unit. So, a full team of the same unit would still be a 50% chance that any one of them gets 0.1%. In the end, you'd end up fusing them all for the remaining 20% TMR, right?

While you can use multiple units to make things faster, it only makes sense if you need the TM only once.

E.g. multiple Cecils for multiple Excaliburs are worth it in the long run. I currently grind for 3 Excaliburs.

OK BSB is certainly less situational. Actually, with lvl 99 characters and RS weapons I think you only need the OK buff to hit the atk cap while simultaneously boosting your single (dark) mage to be even more ridiculous.

400 mag + mori + devotion + ok bsb is 18-20k against U++ content. pretty good.

Let me give you a real tip on S/L, barrage/attack with 3-4 of your units on your turn (don't use any action on the last unit(s)) keep S/Ling until you see at least 3 or 4 of the green summon balls charge your esper bar. If you get anything lower than that, reset. Remember if you use all of your characters actions and try to S/L it will go to the enemies turn that's why you leave one unit without an action.

I don't know how Exdeath will help you win.. Make sure you keep fullbreak and omniveil up the entire fight and put diabolos on cecil or CoD.

Also if you have a whale friend and are having trouble surviving long enough to get the evoke off, you can use hyper with rydia/garnet along with entrust. S/L until you get a favorable charge on their LBs. Most people should be fine S/Ling during their turn to get a good amount of summon orbs and then S/Ling on the enemies turn to avoid casualties

Provoke+Focus on cecil since he's a meteor/endless damage sponge. Use defend on your healers if they don't have to do anything, shit saves their lives.

If you have a WoL, swap out agrias with him for FB/Diabolos duty. Assclown is useless in this fight from my personal experience, swap in garnet in place of him and focus on getting her to LB for the evoke achievement.

Have refia/garnet alternate between healing/item feeding to units. The rest should be straightforward.

It's 50 cards from 6 to 8, you have plenty of materials.
Mage + Ifrit is far better, assuming you're doing 2*. Chaining is the easiest way to do damage, and it's more likely you'll find people using fire cards.

Onion Knights shouldn't be using any skills. They are carried by their Onion equips and sheer stats in FFIII.

Man this Maxwell really kicks my ass, guess after this I really need to work on materia and fully level the espers. With SPR buff and OmniVeil up I still worry about healing right before Turn 4, but Refia usually bites it along with some other random that's not Charlotte.

Any word on better maces and throwing weapons apart from the new Trial mace and Locke's TMR? 6 Star COD still only has the Kangaroo weapon and a couple of pulls today landed me two CODs that'll need some weapons as well. One's gonna have Zidane's dual wield as well once that's leveled up

What does it mean when my phone says my google account is not authorized to play Record Keeper? It just happens randomly some days and then never shows up again for a few weeks. Works completely fine on an emulator despite being linked to the same account.

I like FFT. Besides FFT and Tactics Ogre, nobody's willing to make tactical srpgs anymore. Its a sad feeling. Only option is to play FFT mods.
