Winston is criminally underrated. What changes would you guys suggest that wouldn't break him?

Here's some ideas i've got:
> slight damage upgrade to his tickle cannon (maybe 3-5 more dmg per tick)
> increase his melee damage slightly
> make his shield CD start when he drops it (instead of starting when the shield is destroyed/removed)
> alternatively, make his shield absorb more damage
> change 100-150 of his HP to armor

The main issue i see with Winston right now is that his dps is slightly too low. Mercy's heal COMPLETELY negates his single target damage. Since she got that recharge buff and her mobility is still pretty decent, she's a lot harder to kill for a Winston. However, you can't give Winston too much of a damage increase because it would obviously be too strong against groups.

People who are good enough to play him to his full potential are in the SR range where people are good enough to counter him reliably, making him a sub-par pick.

People who play him at a low SR, aren't good enough to play him worth a shit, making him a sub-par pick.

Honestly, the best way to know which skins to use is to make a mental note any time that you have a harder time picking out an enemy target because of their skin. You want to make enemies have to look at what you're having a hard time seeing.

The ability to camouflage yourself well also depends a lot on the map, but you can pick some skins for certain characters if you know that they're going to spend more of their time in a certain environment.
Like for Pharah, go with Raptorion.
It's pale blue. The sky is pale blue. Players have to look up to see you, and you'll blend in with the sky (to some extent).
