People use cerb guns to maximize their two turn data from Zoey. When you're doing 8-10 million in one turn, it doesn't matter if you're doing 800k less per turn.

But if you're not doing a huge multiplier it's better just to increase your damage over those 12+ turns. You will have DATA up on all your characters for at least 6 of those turns anyway.

Reminder that bows were fucking retarded to begin with and if your entire element/build relies on one broken thing that free players can have, good luck. It wasn't even a combo, you literally just put bows in your grid and you were at full power.

S.Zoi and backwater are retarded too, yes, but that's a combo and one part of it is gacha only. Combos are less likely to get nerfed.

Backwater is also inherently more interesting to play with in HL because you have to stay at low HP beyond the early burst for the full effect. Frontwater has no risk, you just stay at full for everything, both MVP races and HL.

Most things don't matter until you're playing for half a year at least or spend gazillions of dollars, a couple of changes are annoying (casino store nerf, angel halo 2x as expensive - those things are rather useful from the get-go), but you won't really notice if you don't know how it was before.

That said, this game is unfortunately very good for a mobage and that makes you spend so much time on it that you start to regret you learned about it in the first place.

So I have been playing for about a week now, currently rank 28 babby, I got 3 ssr when i used newbie draws - yuel, aoidos and vania. I was focusing on my fire build since I have 2 fire ssrs, but apparently fire got fucked this patch

What are my options now? Move onto dark or keep playing with fire?

Fire is always rather fucked and this patch changed nothing about it, but having a firelord friend I can say for sure that you can firelord very effectively if you're ready to be very good friends with colomag-chan. It's not _that_ much of a difference and it's at least still easier to farm for than fucking light or dark. Also, you've got two really great fire SSRs. Vampy is top tier as well, though, so look out for dark stuff in case the game blesses you with some other decent dark SSR (dark is my second team but the only SSR besides Vampy that I have is fucking Dark Sarunan, fuck).

You use at most one normal atk weapon with odin. Having normal weapons in pool is a bad idea since his bonus atk modifier is chara (normal) atk.

Generally agreed on 'don't go for odin' but if you don't have baha or luci it can be a reasonable choice for a while. You can farm a complete Odin setup over the course of a few magnafes that has higher damage than double baha or celeste x baha. (Of course, you lose damage output from putting in a light character, so it's still inferior.)

Lily buff is not that big honestly since her attack stat sucks so hard. With 3 races her damage is almost the same as other outdated attackers'.

I've been running Charlotte Lily Yngwie for a while now and she used to hit for a fair bit less than the other two and now she hits very slightly harder than them.
