Literally what the fuck is Capcom doing? Making stages that obscure player characters and have overly-distracting backgrounds? This is the kind of shit you'd expect from an amateur fighting game dev, not someone who has been in the business for more than two decades.

I don't understand it. Not only are they terrible ideas for stages (Beach could have been good, I suppose, but fighting on a plane WHILE IT'S FLYING should have been nixed immediately), but they put a lot of effort into making these stages overly-complicated. Out of all of the areas where they seem to have cut corners in this game, now they want to go "all out" and start making crazy stages that are so over-the-top that they're being banned at tourneys?

The fuck is Capcom even doing?

SNK decided to not release it on pc even though the country it's most popular in largely revolves around pc gaming. SNK are the ones that made kof look like shit which matters to casuals.

I don't think anything ever will unless it's another phenomenon like Smash. And even then, that has its own group of players who are just as unwilling to try out new games. The SF players will play SF, the Smashers will play Smash, the Tekken guys will always play Tekken, et cetera. I don't see any possibility of the KoF scene in North America becoming larger than the SF scene unless we begin importing Chinese and Mexicans en masse.

Played DotA for a while, thought it was okay, but I despise relying on teams for games, the same reason I never got serious with Overwatch. I can't even get 5 friends to play Monopoly with me, so there's no chance of me getting 5 to learn an FPS or RTS. I at least have a bit of fun with no reliance on teams with SFV. This seems to be something people always forget when they tell people to play more profitable esports instead of fighting games. Most of them besides Starcraft need a team.
