My issue now is down to how problematic the lack of mana tide will be for raiding.
You see, as a paladin can spec for pvp in a way that doesn't gimp you for raiding. On the other hand, elemental shamans with 30/0/21 will not have mana tide and thus be hugely gimped for raiding.

well considering you'd have at least 3 groups with melee in raids, that would be 3 shamans per raid, but since many people often went with 4 melee groups that meant 4 shamans, but you also need one for caster group and tank group, so you'd easily have 6+ shamans per raid

I've seen a Chinese raid of Alliance literally back up in fear from a rushing undead raiding party. It's fucking great.

Also the chinese client in retail replaces the skeletons from corpses into tombstones. That means on Nos when massive fights break out and the ground is littered with skeletons the Chinese will avoid it and slowly be backed out of a territory because the skeletons scare them.
