I'll be the first to admit I'm mediocre at the game and got placed into Plat 2, quickly ascended to Diamond - all because of a streak of great games where everything clicked just right, didn't play against Siege gods, and when I wasn't MVP at least I was pulling my weight.

I know full well I don't deserve it. I've always been Gold the past seasons. I'm trying to git gud quickly to actually be competent at these levels, but it's a bumpy ride. It's alright though, lots of room for learning.

I'll admit it sometimes kinda sucks going into matches and randoms/the enemy expecting you to be amazing because you're diamond but then when you don't top the scoreboard (or worse, do badly) they make fun of you.

How do I git gud with Echo? I'm good at placing his drone in key spots and blasting people to aid in kills, but I can't git gud with his guns.

The nova seems to have wide spread, low damage, and the slowest firing rate in the game and is completely outclassed by every other shotgun including the mossberg.

The MP5SD seems to have similar damage to the P90 but with ridiculously high recoil for a 9mm and low accuracy and can take an entire mag to kill someone.

Blitz needs his hitbox or something changed(also 2 speed?). Montagne needs explosive resistance or something when extended. No idea about recruit shield and Fuze shield, maybe give everyone small explosive resistance and Montagne more of it?

Kapkan needs to be two speed and he'll be in a decent spot. Tachanka needs either the shield or to just have the LMG as a main weapon with a bipod. Fuze might need a bit more randomness with his charge for more spread across the room. Glaz needs more ammo and for his damage falloff to be extremely small

I don't think there's a way to do that. Tachanka is fundamentally a bad idea for this game because pretty much every room has breachable walls, floor, windows and hatches. Thus, being a stationary target is the worst thing you can possibly do. Not to mention that nearly every operator has a way to counter Tachanka, be it frags, breaches, smokes, stuns, etc etc.

Nah dude, that is still missing the point. The problem is not that he can't stand against a peeker, although that's a problem, the real issue is that he's a stationary target.

And as we know, in this game speed is king. And when he's on the turret his speed is zero. If you give him the blackbeard shield not only is he just borrowing a gadget, and that's dumb, but that doesn't help him against being wallbanged, fragged, so on so forth.

The bipod idea actually sounds really good now that I think about it. Think about it, without setting it down on a surface his LMG is virtually unusable, but when you set it down it can shoot just as well as it can now. So you can get Tachanka being able to hold choke points and even putting pressure on people outside. The bipod would also increase the possibility of his gadget placement, which is still a problem, while rendering him mobile.

So yeah, Tachanka needs a complete redesign of his turret or a completely different gadget altogether.

Smoke is good. his shotgun is useful for making murderholes to peep your SMG11 through, but that's a risky tactic for obvious reasons.

good equipment, useful gadget, but be aware that your gadget can harm teammates and even hostages.

The SAS are all very solid picks. I think as an average they're the best CTU in the game.

The biggest problem with Montagne is when you get spotted and they organize against you. Making it risky to rush a Montagne like that would improve him without making him unbalanced.
