Any tips? My party is Fighter, Monk, Priest, Ranger, Wizard, Chanter. Everyone except the monk is a scripted character, and we're all around level 6.

I've enchanted every weapon with fire damage and spiritslaying, but I just can't get through it. There's like 14 of the fuckers. Every other fight except the spookers in the ruined temple has been a cakewalk so far, but this I just can't deal with. I just don't do enough damage, and the priest gets btfo after 2 spells because they snipe him off immediately with magic.

There's too many of them, I'm locking my party into a tiny choke where they can only hit my monk, the pet and my fighter. But they bust through eventually as they focus on sniping my priest first, which also creates a hole that they immediately port into and go to town on my ranger.

Blackwall is a pure tank, I suggest changing Cassandra for Blackwall. Bull is ridiculously strong once he becomes a Reaver and you might have to use him sometimes if you want to get things done quickly.

Cory is only a red herring and he got dangerous just because he received the Orb. He was a momentary threat, but compared to the elven gods and titans he is fucking nothing (even Solas is ten times more powerful than him now).

Even Leliana says in Trespasser that he did everything wrong (opposed to the Qunari who are planning to conquest the south following the strategic explosions they prepared) and Laidlaw confirmed that Leliana and Corypheus are actually quite similar: both lost faith in their deity and feel they have little else left in the world.

If you think about it, the only impressive feats of magic he showed were lifting the temple into the sky and possessing a warden in Mythal's temple, the rest of villainous acts in the game were commited thanks to the stupidity and incompetence of important leaders (killing Justinia - wardens, razing Haven - Templars or mages, etc). Do you guys read everything that can be read in DAI? The amount of lore the devs put into this game is ridiculous. I find myself skipping every bit of it if it's not related to the story at all. One example is Tyrdda Bright-Axe or the origin of whatever the tavern's name is in Haven.

It's super interesting, man. I was actually surprised to find so much lore in the game and it's even good and well-tied together.

Try to read it and discover things for yourself, it makes the whole experience 100x times better, especially when you realize something important and connect the dots.

For example, the "female elven lover" mentioned in Tyrdda's poem is Mythal in spirit form. She talked to her lover Tyrdda through dreams and convinced her to have a child with a dwarven prince to keep her bloodline strong. She warned her that a woman named Morrighan'nan had to be born in her line sooner or later, so Tyrdda agreed to marry to preserve her line and make sure that woman would be born.

Also Tyrdda fought with another tribal chief who wanted to convince her to "go sack a gilded city beyond the Waking Sea" that dark whispers had told him contained great wealth and power. The city is probably Arlathan: it means entities from the Fade (the Old Gods? The trapped elven gods?) were trying to force people to go there for some reason since from the start.

Why the Tyranny hate? I stole it so I didn't have a reason to be buttmad I genuinely liked it. Even looks like it's a step up from PoE. Feels a bit rushed and railroady, but there absolutely has to be DLC like White March which I will also steal.

What does "on kill" effects mean?
For example "targets explode on kill" does the weapon have to "tag" the target and it will explode on kill or does the weapon have to be the killing blow for it to proc? Are "on kill" effects even worth it?

It's alright. There's a lot of bad writing, animations, and quests. Amongst the terribleness is the occasional good quest or dungeon.

Classes are boring as shit. Crafting is pretty fun. Clothing options are all fucking terrible for your character.

No, you just need to buy DAI (GOTY for sure) to legally make your saves for DAI in Keep. Save import from DAO to DA2 is direct from the save file, so it'll work in pirated DA2 obviously.
More than that, you can login to your origin account in your pirated DAO and DA2 and sync your saves, achievements, dlcs and shit, so Keep will see your HoF and Hawke and their choices even from pirated copies.
