Yep, I plan to use it in real life, I already own the majority of the cards which is why I'm using them and not like Allure (which hopefully doesn't get removed from the SD), Pot, PSY-frame, Trish or Crystal Wing. The new Magicians are way better than the old ones and they're level 4.
Since they destroy themselves after using their effects you don't need to rely in Sky Iris that much, noneless, is a good card to have so I'm still using it.
What surprises me the most is how almost useless Pendulum Call is because it block almost all your plays for a little tutoring when Pendulumgraph of Ages can do it pretty much free and Startime searches your Joker for even more tutoring.
On the other hand, Amazing Pendulum is pretty much Amazing here, you can just pop 2 Magicians with their effects and then recover them with 0 drawbacks besides being hard OTP, heck, these days I'm looking for my opponent to use TwiTwi on my scales.

Seriously, Dark Matter Rulers weren't even that good, for the time they were legal they had less tops than Evilswarms over in the OCG, Nekroz and Shaddolls were much better decks to play.
The only reason Rulers got banned was because Konami got sick of them ruining dragon support for everybody like they did with Dragon Shrine, Dragon Ravine and Super Rejuvenation which got so bad that Wyrms were made so they could make Dragons without supporting them. With Dark Matter and Red-eyes support coming out soon enough was enough and it was time for them to go.
