If we ignore trophy descriptions, calling Rom and CE great ones is a stretch because we know for a fact that they were transformed into that current state from regular humans (or Pthumerians so the "Rom = found in chalice" guy doesn't ruin this discussion). They all share statistical weaknesses with Eribritas, but lack any similarity to Amy, Wet Nurse and MP.

There's also the Brain of Mensis which is a "legitmant Great One", and isn't counted as kin, and I'm 99% sure it isn't weak to Bolt or Thrust.

Maybe Eribritas is an ascended Pthumerian, you can make out a humanoid shape to her torso, and the only natural (or legitmant as Living String description says) are Amy, Wetnurse and MP.

Stopping at 98 lets you invade that full range, while also avoiding the faggots that go to 150. A lot of people around here stop at 98 for this reason.

Pure Blt only the arrows are useful, which is still good and easy to cheese bosses with. 50/10+ Skl/Blt if you want to mainly use the untricked mode, 25 Blt gives okay damage on arrows and bullets but you could do without it. If you plan on using the Chikage, Pure Blt is better.

The prerequisites for being able to join any dungeon are the following

Many civilizations throughout history have placed humans between beasts and gods. Able to think like gods, but still violent and debaucherous like lowly beasts. Bloodborne dudes are basically divided into beasts and great ones (gods).

They run at lower framerates because the PS4 automatically upscales to 4K using that weird checkerboard rendering but then if you're playing on a 1080p TV it will then downscale it back to 1080p

Basically it creates more work for itself when it's not even necessary. They need to patch it so that it doesn't supersample the shit out of everything or at least add an option to just run at 1080 instead of pushing for 4K upscaling all the time.

I really hate that the console industry favors visuals over performance. I know it's harder to market games to plebs without fancy screenshots but the PS4 Pro should be a 1080p 60fps machine, not a gimmicky 4K upscaler.

What's the lore behind the bosses in the chalice dungeons? They are either just copy pastad regular game bosses or even regular game enemies, or things that have never even appeared in the regular game like merciless watchers and watchdog.
Rom is in there and I thought she was a special great one, same with ebrietas, and many of them appear multiple times in different layers.
In the regular game it feels like the bosses and shit all have a reason to be there, but none of the chalice dungeon bosses feel like they have any reason to be there.
